The mechanics for play in this game- how one aspect of the farming hooks into another so you can never really focus on just one part- seem polished and interesting, if a bit resource greedy. The world is well designed and absolutely beautiful, and all the characters are unique aesthetically. The freedom you have in building and decorating your homes is enormous. I really enjoy how they have blended science and magic (as a product of environment, not as a thing humans can do). I also really like how the Moonlit Forest is not a one-and-done place, but is somewhere you must constantly return to for resources. As a low pressure cozy farming life sim, it's great, and a wonderful way to relax. That being said, there is no over arching plot- you very much need to make your own story. Each of the NPCs has a very limited personal story that provides no character growth or insight and mostly serves as a way to get to know the basics of their personalities. Romance and friendship have no distinction wrt events, leaving you with the impression that every one of the romanceable characters is in love with you if you go on any dates with them at all. The romance is extremely limited and seems to reach its conclusion at the stage where the two of you are just coming to realize mutual feelings, or are just about to confess them. "Moving in" as their version of marriage is buggy and I have not had it work consistently. I know this is an early access game- however the story feels not merely unfinished, but entirely absent. I think the only exception I can see so far is the Adventurer career path with Zephyria, as it gates progression in the Moonlit Forest. That part does feel like a cool exploration story, and left me feeling very Indiana Jones. I would not recommend buying this at full price at this time, but I would definitely recommend buying it on a sale. It's a gorgeous game aesthetically, and I've been very pleased with character and base customizations. I'm very much looking forward to the complete version.

The feedback for improvement 1. Events and Immersion The Festival Calendar: A world feels much more alive when there are frequent reasons to celebrate. Adding more seasonal festivals would help break up the gameplay loop. Cinematic Moments: Increasing the number of cutscenes with specific characters helps build emotional weight. It’s hard to bond with a cast if you only ever see them in standard gameplay loops. 2. Visual Consistency & Customization Outfit Logic: It is definitely immersion-breaking when some characters change outfits for events or seasons while others stay in their "default" look. Ensuring every character follows the same rules for changing clothes would make the world feel more cohesive. The "NPC Envy" Problem: It’s a classic RPG struggle when the NPCs have cooler designs than the playable characters! Adding more hair options and expanding the wardrobe—perhaps even including some of those tourist NPC styles—would give players more agency over their look. 3. Technical Polish The Bug Situation: Even the most beautiful game can become a headache if you're constantly fighting glitches. Consistent "quality of life" patches are clearly a priority here to match the high standard of the graphics.
