About

An entire universe awaits you in Stars Reach. In this science-fantasy MMORPG, you'll visit strange, new worlds, become an explorer, and build a life on planets that react to everything you do. Your choices will change your world. And, you'll do it with every other player on a single server. Leave your mark on the galaxy!
Each world responds to your actions. A deep, reactive simulation allows water to flow naturally, forests to burn, and lava to harden into new materials and land masses. From lush forests to winding rivers to perilous mountains, every planet has its own ecosystems, resources, and challenges. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you, how wildlife reacts, and ultimately which settlements prosper.
Planets are living systems. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you. Climate changes, creatures migrate, disasters strike, and the world reacts in ways you can’t fully control.
Travel through wormholes to discover new worlds, explore, build, survive, and thrive. Every planet begins untouched. What it becomes is up to you.
Master one of dozens of skill paths, and live the galactic life you’ve always dreamed. Whether you want to protect settlers as a ranger, build a trade empire, or offer your services as an architect, Stars Reach offers many skill paths that allow you to chart a course through space that fits your play style. There are different weapons to master. There’s a career path just for you in Stars Reach.
You’re not locked into any single playstyle. Experiment with different skill paths and find the combination that suits you best. Build your own class from different skill sets and define your role in the galaxy.
Your first steps onto a new world take you far beyond the familiar. You’ll need to adapt to your surroundings by learning to survive. Every skill path has accompanying equipment, which you’ll gain proficiency with by using those tools.
More importantly, your contributions to the community will increase your proficiency. A camp you build will earn you experience when others rest at it. Community means survival, and we’ve built Stars Reach to support pro-social behavior and limit the ability for other players to ruin your experience through griefing.
You can build a cozy cottage on a remote hill, and carve out a living by yourself. But if you crave community, team up to build settlements and cities, shape how they grow, and decide how they are governed.
Team up and claim a large plot of land that isn’t just a home base. You and your friends can cluster your homesteads, build a community, and govern together.
The resources you gather can be sold in a unified galactic economy driven by players. Or, you can use them to craft tools and technology to supply distant worlds with vital goods necessary for their survival.
Trade with players across the galaxy, specialize in what you make, and become a master of your craft and earn renown across the galaxy.
Your choices determine what comes next.
Cities grow or decline, ecosystems shift, wildlife becomes extinct, and resources are used up or recover based on what you do. Protect the environment and its inhabitants, or strip mine it for profit. Other players live with the results of what you leave behind.
This is Stars Reach! What will you become?

If you enjoyed Star Wars Galaxies, you'll enjoy this game. It's not for people who just want a quick session. You get what you put into this game, and there isn't much hand-holding by design. There are a few tutorial missions, and after that it's up to you to figure out what you want to do. The in-game community is a tremendous resource when you need help. More than anything, the game is what you make it. If you don't work for things, you won't get much out of it. This game is going places I haven't seen since Star Wars Galaxies, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to play it. It has its flaws, but I've been impressed by how fast the fixes come, and I hope they keep heading in that direction. There's a lot left to be done and it's far from complete, but what's here already is awesome. I recommend this game if you enjoy working for what you want. Nothing here is handed to you, and you have the freedom to do anything you set your mind to. But you have to be willing to put in the effort.
Coming into this game at EA I have had a lot of fun. It is a tad rough starting out and not knowing what to do but as you explore, talk to other players it gets easier! I look forward to how the game keeps developing!

Game is cheeks, complete inventory of bank and auction house all disappeared. Over 20hrs of metal and ore stacks gone. Had the auction house at max listings. All gone... Their patch notes said its been fixed but its not. Submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago and its been crickets. Trying to walk in this game is painful. Glitching and stuttering along with poor stamina and walk speed is like a torture simulator. The grapple helps but the range is too short and misses half the time. 10 out of 10 wont play again.
For sure an alpha, needs alot more time in the oven before most people would really enjoy it. this game has alot of promise.
We talkin about the guy that gave us UO and SWG. It already feels like he's runnin it back on today's tech. Let Raph cook....
This game has the shell of something great. It's not an incredible experience right now but the basic systems are there. It is basically an MMORPG with the gameplay of a modern survival sandbox game like No Man's Sky, combined with SWG style MMORPG systems. While I do NOT recommend you play it in its current state if you expect anything more than to be a tester in an early beta, I think it's still perfectly playable right now and can only get better from here.
Don't listen to the people who raged out after playing for literally 10 minutes. game is stable. it is fun and has very cool crafting systems. I'd recommend.
It's star wars galaxies mixed with star trek mixed with ugly americans. I remember beta testing SWG.. this will only get better and is a great concept. Support the devs and give them time to prove they will limit the scope creep.
Well the time is here. Early Access has arrived. Was it too early to release into EA? Probably, but here we are. Is is janky? Yeah sometimes, but it gets fixed. Is it hard? Yep. This isn’t your hand holding themepark type game, but a sandbox. Get your pail and bucket and get to digging. You’ll find me at the bottom of a planet somewhere, making another crazy build. Hello, my name is Chayce and I am your Kickstarter backing, 2400 hour playing Stars Reach shill. See ya in game Meatbags.
This game is either severely underbaked or another mmorpg cash grab scam. The gameplay you actually get bears no resemblance to the screenshots and videos on this page, yes I know it early access but these videos are from a different game. I hope it's the former and I can come back in 5 or 6 years and be amazed but......
