About

An entire universe awaits you in Stars Reach. In this science-fantasy MMORPG, you'll visit strange, new worlds, become an explorer, and build a life on planets that react to everything you do. Your choices will change your world. And, you'll do it with every other player on a single server. Leave your mark on the galaxy!
Each world responds to your actions. A deep, reactive simulation allows water to flow naturally, forests to burn, and lava to harden into new materials and land masses. From lush forests to winding rivers to perilous mountains, every planet has its own ecosystems, resources, and challenges. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you, how wildlife reacts, and ultimately which settlements prosper.
Planets are living systems. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you. Climate changes, creatures migrate, disasters strike, and the world reacts in ways you can’t fully control.
Travel through wormholes to discover new worlds, explore, build, survive, and thrive. Every planet begins untouched. What it becomes is up to you.
Master one of dozens of skill paths, and live the galactic life you’ve always dreamed. Whether you want to protect settlers as a ranger, build a trade empire, or offer your services as an architect, Stars Reach offers many skill paths that allow you to chart a course through space that fits your play style. There are different weapons to master. There’s a career path just for you in Stars Reach.
You’re not locked into any single playstyle. Experiment with different skill paths and find the combination that suits you best. Build your own class from different skill sets and define your role in the galaxy.
Your first steps onto a new world take you far beyond the familiar. You’ll need to adapt to your surroundings by learning to survive. Every skill path has accompanying equipment, which you’ll gain proficiency with by using those tools.
More importantly, your contributions to the community will increase your proficiency. A camp you build will earn you experience when others rest at it. Community means survival, and we’ve built Stars Reach to support pro-social behavior and limit the ability for other players to ruin your experience through griefing.
You can build a cozy cottage on a remote hill, and carve out a living by yourself. But if you crave community, team up to build settlements and cities, shape how they grow, and decide how they are governed.
Team up and claim a large plot of land that isn’t just a home base. You and your friends can cluster your homesteads, build a community, and govern together.
The resources you gather can be sold in a unified galactic economy driven by players. Or, you can use them to craft tools and technology to supply distant worlds with vital goods necessary for their survival.
Trade with players across the galaxy, specialize in what you make, and become a master of your craft and earn renown across the galaxy.
Your choices determine what comes next.
Cities grow or decline, ecosystems shift, wildlife becomes extinct, and resources are used up or recover based on what you do. Protect the environment and its inhabitants, or strip mine it for profit. Other players live with the results of what you leave behind.
This is Stars Reach! What will you become?

Don't listen to the people who raged out after playing for literally 10 minutes. game is stable. it is fun and has very cool crafting systems. I'd recommend.
I want to like this game so bad and to an extent i really do. But Jesus Christ it is in such a rough state that it is nearly impossible to play. What in the actual hell were all of those months/year of playtesting for? Its just crazy how they fumbled this so much. "Oh but its early access" Yeah well early access is basically treated as a release. Especially if you charge money for it. People expect a working product. I literally cant do any missions or build my plot up like i wanted to because the lag is so bad to where it can be at minimum a 5 second delay and up to literally a minute. That's unacceptable. (Not my internet. 220down, 200up) I will continue to check in daily to see if they are fixing things because I really like the idea of the game and the overall atmosphere they are going for. After a month if its still complete aids, i'm considering it dead. Otherwise i hope to update this to a positive.

Worst EA title I have ever played. Considering I own most of the games published by Snail Games, that is saying something. Graphics are missing textures, UI is horrible, animations are whack, movement is jerky. All things that should have been addressed before launching. Oh, plus you have to pay a monthly subscription if you want a house.
I was a bit scared of EA but it turned out very good compared with other EA releases, game well has a lot of work, but combat, crafting and base building is there some more than other but is fun! will update this review in 2-3 days
Absolutely awesome game, great systems, cool visual style and a huge amount of depth. If you want something a bit different try this and support a fantastic dev team. Ignore anyone bitter here because they didn't follow simple rules....
I feel like this game has a chance. The current state is VERY rough. I would allow it to cook longer before jumping in. This has a lot of potential but it is very rough even for an EA title.
this game is fun! reminds me of star wars galaxies.
As everyone knows, this is an Extremely Early Acces game. But I feel obligated to post a review. The bones of this game are very clearly seen and they seem good! Really great. It is a sloppy mess... sure. But it actually FEELS great. It is hard to describe but I had the same feeling when velheim originally released. The Feel is there. That is what is important. Get a friend or 2 to jump in this and figure the game out. The social aspect can't be understated. And no, I am not talking about in game social mechanics. I mean the idea of grouping up and rolling through while trying to problem solve. Yeah. There is bad lag. Yeah, there is a ton that is still clearly labeled "work in progress". But if you spent any time playing EA games, this is great for you. And if you came from SWG... oh my. Please do yourself a favor and experience this. 5/10 is probably a good rating for raw gameplay today. But the opportunity is 10/10. The enjoyment of figuring things out. 10/10. The community and the roadmap... 10/10. Just try it for 1 hour. You will immediately see the potential.
IT'S A HARD DON'T BUY.... Honestly don't even want to waste energy on typing this, but please don't buy this game currently as of this review. It's straight trash, out of all the E.A. games I've played over the last few years this one is literally the worst game I have ever played in E.A.. I didn't know a game could be worse than Pantheon but Stars Reach wins hands down. I saw the screen as the game loaded showing a company called playable worlds inc., but have yet to find a world that hasn't been destroyed terra formed and mined so bad that you can't even do missions or even just explore, where are the playable worlds rofl... This game is so bad it made me consider trying Pax Dei again...Who cares when they release spaceships when the game is so bad that half the players making character's report their homesteader glitched out or their house is floating because the land under it and the mountain was mined out lol.
So right now I do not recommend the price for this. But it has bones, if they can get it better, closer to a 1.0 game. Then i say yes. It has as said bones, but it needs more flesh. Game could be really awesome. I like it so far. So if you want to get in now, go ahead. But if you wait, probally get a better deal anyways.
