Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.8/day in the week to Jul 17 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Starground is a top-down automation dungeon crawler combo. Alternate between gathering and refining resources on your home planet, and venturing across space to fight through action roguelite-inspired dungeons. How you split your time is entirely up to you! There's no right way to play the game, and any path will progress the story.
Starground was built up with multiplayer from the beginning. Experience what Starground has to offer as a full co-operative experience with as many friends as you'd like. Invite your friends to work towards common goals, or divide and conquer each part of the game. If multiplayer isn't your thing though, you can play alone in single player too!
Develop and maximize an island of resources through automation. Work your way through a research tree filled with all sorts of unique machines and solutions to your logistical needs. Start humble by mining resources by hand and smelting manually, but soon build up to a formidable factory that can tackle anything you can throw at it.
If you're not into automation, or need to wait for your factory, then venture to other places in the solar system to explore and crawl your way through a variety of dungeons. Battle enemies, avoid obstacles, kill bosses, and reap the rewards of your effort. Take resources from dungeons back to your factory, or use rare loot to make yourself stronger and craft modular weapons. Make a spear, dual-bladed sword, or maybe a gun on a stick. The choice is yours.

automation part was fun but the combat ruined the game for me
Starground is an ambitious indie title that blends several traditionally separate genres into a single, flexible sandbox experience. Developed by Big Boy Games and published by 2 Left Thumbs, the game combines factory automation, resource management, crafting progression, and action-oriented dungeon exploration in a way that encourages players to define their own priorities. Rather than forcing a linear path, it presents a living system where industrial efficiency and adventurous risk-taking exist side by side, each feeding into the other. At the heart of the experience lies the automation and base-building system. Players begin with simple manual gathering and rudimentary crafting before gradually unlocking machines that mine resources, refine materials, and transport goods across an expanding base. Conveyor belts, storage units, processing stations, and research upgrades allow for increasingly complex production chains, turning raw planetary resources into advanced components. Much of the satisfaction comes from watching these systems operate smoothly after careful planning, tweaking layouts to eliminate bottlenecks, and refining workflows for maximum efficiency. For fans of automation-focused games, this loop offers a familiar but rewarding sense of progression rooted in optimization and experimentation. Running parallel to this methodical factory gameplay is the dungeon-crawling and exploration component, which injects action and unpredictability into the experience. Players can venture away from their base to explore hostile environments and procedurally generated dungeons filled with enemies, hazards, and valuable loot. Combat is more direct and reactive than the base-building side, requiring positioning, timing, and awareness rather than long-term planning. The rewards found in these dangerous areas often feed directly back into automation and crafting systems, creating a strong incentive to balance caution with exploration. One of Starground’s greatest strengths is the freedom it gives players to decide how much time to invest in each aspect of the game. Some may spend hours perfecting production lines and unlocking new technologies, while others focus heavily on combat and dungeon runs to accelerate progression through rare materials and upgrades. The game does not penalize either approach, instead allowing both playstyles to coexist naturally. This openness gives the experience a sandbox quality, where curiosity and self-directed goals drive engagement rather than rigid objectives. Cooperative multiplayer adds another layer to this flexibility. Friends can join together to manage a shared world, dividing responsibilities in a way that mirrors real teamwork. One player might focus on maintaining and expanding the factory, while another explores dungeons or experiments with combat builds. This division of labor not only makes complex systems more manageable but also enhances the sense of shared accomplishment when plans come together. Solo players are still fully supported, but co-op highlights the game’s systems in particularly satisfying ways. Visually, Starground uses a clean and readable 2D pixel-art style that prioritizes clarity over spectacle. Machines, resources, enemies, and environmental features are all easily distinguishable, which is essential in a game where spatial planning and quick recognition matter. The art style remains consistent across both factory and dungeon environments, helping the two halves of the game feel like parts of a single cohesive world. The interface is functional and generally intuitive, though its Early Access status is evident in areas where quality-of-life improvements and refinement would further smooth the experience. As an Early Access title, Starground does show signs of being a work in progress. Some systems feel lighter than others, balance can shift unexpectedly, and certain automation tools would benefit from additional depth or customization. However, ongoing updates and visible developer engagement suggest a clear commitment to expanding and polishing the game over time. Community feedback has played an important role in shaping its development, and the foundation already in place is strong enough to support meaningful growth. Overall, Starground stands out as a creative and evolving hybrid that successfully merges automation and action without forcing players into a single playstyle. Its appeal lies in the freedom to build, explore, optimize, and experiment at one’s own pace, whether alone or with friends. While it may not yet offer the refinement of more established titles in either genre, its willingness to blend systems and trust player choice gives it a distinctive identity. For players who enjoy factory-building games, light action RPG elements, and cooperative problem-solving, Starground offers a promising and engaging experience that continues to grow with each update. 面白い ダンジョンすぐ攻略できてしまうので、まだまだコンテンツ不足 軌道エレベーターに搬入できないバグがあります
This game is very good. Its jam packed with features, items and content. You can travel to other planets build cracked factories, enjoy boss battles and even play with your freinds. This game never ends, the only limit is your creativity. Its extremly polished and worth the price. The dev is always adding new feautures, quickly fixing any bugs and listining to the community's suggestions.
У игры хороший потенциал, даде сейчас контента довольно много, есть небольшие проблемы с оптимизацией и багами, но разработчик исправляет их.
