Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

get the star wars genesis mod pack, it saves this mess of a game and makes it worth playing, RIP storage tho... (oh and i got the game for free with 7800xt promo, thank god...)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

the game is empty and it made me feel sick
Fun parts - making you feel like you gonna start a new life for first 5 hour - some quest ♥♥♥♥♥ are great. Bad part - this game suppose to be space skyrim things but after a while you gonna realise most of environment are pretty much similar. to the point the you jump far away to new system to find the very same soil type. - unbearable bugs. - very confusing crafting system and upgrade. not to mention about inventory managing. - etc avoid this.
I absolutely love this game. I bought it around the time of release but then kept hearing negative takes on it that made it sound like it was as bad as Fallout 76 at the start - so I turned to another game instead. Now I'm kicking myself for listening to the critics and missing out on playing this game until last summer. I love several of the faction questlines, especially the UC Vanguard and UC Sysdef ones. I love the exploration, the beautiful backdrops on remote planets, the ship building, and the fact that the primary quest has the option to go slow so you don't feel like you have to cheat in your roleplay if you want to go down a side alley or follow one of the other faction questlines. There is some great environmental storytelling, which is even better after the Free Lanes update with a bunch of new derelict ships. When it feels like you have seen most of the vanilla content, there are some fantastic creations and mods that can give you many extra hours of quality gameplay through quests. And those just keep coming. There are also so many ways to tweak the gameplay through creations and mods (the majority of which are still free) if you find something you don't like. One of my favorite things to do is to change the economic system each playthrough, making it more difficult each time to accumulate credits. If there is one thing to complain about, it is that your actions in the past are not always recognized by the NPCs. For example, you can get kicked out of a city for ticking off the city's highest leader, and no reference to that is made the next time you come back, even when interacting with that leader directly. But I think that is the nature of an open sandbox like Starfield. Because you can go and do whatever you want, in whatever order you want, there is no way to account for all those possibilities, especially with voiced NPCs. If you mostly like shooting and looting, the game might not be as entertaining for you. The combat is better than in some other Bethesda games, but it is the intermixing of combat and interesting storylines that I think makes the game a great one.
It's fun to play thanks to the modding community!
I've played every Bethesda game ever made, and I've played a lot of Starfield, and its really not complicated. It's the worst, most nonsensical opening to any game the studio has every put out. If you're going to be bad be bad at the end not the beginning. That said that game is basically Fallout 4 in space and you bring your base with you. If you weren't a fan of Fallout 4 and its design (both gameplay and narrative) you're likely not going to like this either. If you were a fan than you'll find a nice evolution of all the core mechanics and some very good writing. Some of Bethesda's best writing, art and gameplay are buried in this game so if you love Bethesda games just grind through the first 10 hours and you won't be disappointed. If you're not a huge Bethesda fan it's a very tough ask to grind though that much gameplay considering 10 hours is a complete game in other genres. Either way it's not a bad game its just a really bad start.
Loved the game. Despite few things that need to be improved it has great potential. Enjoyed ship building/customization and ship combat, equipment upgrade/customization. Memorable companions with different personalities. There are few awesome long side quests. Main story is also great and further NG+ support.
