Starcom: Unknown Space

Really neat game--clever, well-structured, well-written, always fun.

I would suggest buy this game on sales, this game kind of offer fixed, linear with limited open world. Some of quest can be frustrated as lost to do, or not sure what to do, or unable to find to get quest done, other than that, game can be enjoy in short term, but not long term, it's unlikely many player would play beyond 80 hours as this game is kind of linear even although few quest is painful to fill. Game is not bad, and it's kind of fun to build your starship design, although it's can be slow and painful to collect research point and resource in mid to end game. That why I would suggest sales.

A very accessible top down spaceship shooter with solid RPG elements and lots of exploration. Relaxing and chill sci-fi escapism.

[h1]A beautiful game[/h1] Discovery, adventure, exploration -- that's what Starcom is in a nutshell. If you ever watched Star Trek you already have a pretty good idea what this game is about. You command a spaceship which has to explore an unknown galaxy. You traverl and fight in real time. Diplomacy, science research, ship building it all is here. The game is a true heir of masterpieces like Star Control, Space Rangers and Sid Meyer's Pirates. Also it reminded me a lot of Master of Orion 2 and Stellaris. Atmosphere, music, excitment. Even ship progression felt familiar :P It's like you are inside one of those games, but not as a leadear of race/faction, but as a captain of one of the ships. I've had a blast with this game and can't wait for the next in line to be released. Highly recommended!

Huge universe to really EXPLORE! unlimited builds on your vessel, with everything being on point, and equal useful per condition. Races and character between them. Lovely graphics and music, bringing all the theme to life!!! What a gem of a game!!!
