STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II - The Sith Lords™

I knew I fell in love with game a when I played it for Seven hours overnight at a friend's house. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan but I really do like this game. I'm sorry it was never truly finished but playing this did get me to play the original. I played this several times since and I will play it many times more.

A Solid Sequel

KOTOR 2, when it has the restored content mod, has the best story in the history of RPGs. Yes, that's my opinion and not technically a fact, but I don't think it's an uncommon opinion so I'm sticking with it. The rest of the game is slightly above par for the time period and it basically requires a mod to finish the story as the base game was and is incomplete. Regardless, it's story is genuinely good enough on it's own to launch the whole package into the top 100 games of all time, and maybe even the top 20 or so. This is the game that put Obsidian firmly onto the map and led directly to New Vegas. If you haven't played it yet, you need to. Just make sure you have the restored content mod. It's still good without it, but the ending doesn't hit right in its original, abbreviated form. 2 thumbs and 3 asinine floating lightsabers up.
