Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It used to work. Now they fixed it, so it crashes on launch. Great. Thanks.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my VR gameplay & commentary here: https://youtu.be/Lp3JhDTsSlA Yes, you can now play STAR WARS™ Episode I Racer in glorious VR, completely FREE (search for the mod). The mod has stereo rendering with true per-eye projection, head tracking, a world-locked panel for HUD and menus, and full Quest controller support (as a gamepad). I was able to get a steady 72 fps and you can probably get 90 fps on my RTX 5090. The only issue I experienced was having some difficulty selecting stuff from the menu. Fiddly, but not impossible to use. Plus you can always go back to KBM for selecting from the menu if using VR controller is too fiddly. This is the best way to play STAR WARS™ Episode I Racer now. In fact, the game didn't work in pancake (2d mode) on my PC. It would stay on loading. The VR mod actually fixes that. You have cockpit view, along with hood view, and 3rd person behind the racer view.
I bought this game (in a bundle)! Empfehlung.
Assets load in weirder than the N64 original or Switch port. Hard crashed every time after I beat the second circuit. Basically, buggy unstable port of all time great game. Find it somewhere else.
Crashes on Load. Very upsetting. Only thing that launches is display settings. Good thing it was on sale for like nothing.
Just download it for free from Vimm's. This version requires a file from github to even launch on Win11 and doesn't have native controller support (for the vast majority of people) despite advertising that it does. If you're going to go through all the fixes that you would for a free emulator download, just get the free emulator download.
You might need to grab a small .dll fix from the GitHub in order to run it. You can find it in the discussion tab. I could never beat the game when I was little, but I finally fulfilled my childhood dream, beat it in a few hours and also unlocked Sebulba’s podracer. It brings back so many memories.
Game doesn't work. Tried a load of stuff to make it work, and the game just crashes every single time, or hard locks my pc and I have to force a restart.
