Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017) remains one of the most frustratingly split titles in modern gaming. Underneath the surface, it possesses some of the best sound design, visual fidelity, and raw Star Wars flavor ever produced in a video game. Yet, it is permanently weighed down by corporate missteps, abandoned post-launch support, and stripped-back local features that pale in comparison to its 2005 predecessor. The Good: -Presentation & Audio: Frostbite's visual engine paired with official Skywalker Sound archives creates an incredible Star Wars atmosphere. The thermal detonators, blaster claps, and iconic hero voice lines feel ripped straight from the films. -Core Gunplay & Unit Diversity: The transition to class-based infantry (Assault, Heavy, Officer, Specialist) combined with specialized Reinforcements (Reinforced Enforcers, Infiltrators, Aerials) gives matches strong tactical variety. -Hero Combat (In Short Bursts): Playing as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, or Darth Maul feels weighty and cinematic when operating properly in online team environments. The Bad -Guttings & Missing Features: Despite matching modern visual standards, the game severely regressed in basic options compared to classic 2000s shooters. There are no native private lobbies, no offline Heroes vs. Villains, no Galactic Conquest, and no seamless space-to-ground capital ship boarding. -Inflexible, Forced PvP Multiplayer: The online experience is ruined by a complete reliance on forced PvP. Without options for private matches or dedicated server browser controls, players are constantly thrown into sweaty, competitive public lobbies against sweat-tryhards and max-level heroes, destroying any casual or cooperative fun. -Incomplete Prequel/Classic Roster: EA cut support in 2020 to reallocate developers to other projects, leaving iconic heroes from the 2005 game and broader lore completely off the table. Most notably Aayla Secura, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Jango Fett, Asajj Ventress, and IG-88 were left out while spending developmental cycles on background units like BB-8. -PC Local Support is a Disaster: Split-screen was completely cut from the PC platform out of the box. While modders attempted to force the code back in, secondary players are permanently crippled with blank "Guest" profiles, stripping away inventory access, cosmetics, and emote wheels. -Forced Public Queueing: Instead of letting you host a private squad session with just a friend (or a friend + bots to fill the empty slots), the game forces you into public matchmaking. If you don't have a full 4-stack, it throws in total randoms who sprint ahead, steal hero picks, or ignore objectives. Repetitive Linear Loops: Every single match follows the exact same script. Capture Command Post A, move to Command Post B, defend for 4 minutes, repeat. There are no dynamic events, no custom modifiers, and no sandbox options. Artificial Difficulty via Bot Spawns: Rather than engaging squad mechanics, the difficulty comes entirely from the game spawning endless waves of aimbot AI directly behind or around your squad. They took what could have been a deep, customizable 4-player sandbox mode and turned it into a repetitive matchmaking playlist.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

For the Republic!
When SW BF3 getting released? >:0 also never seemed to queued up once with cheaters and queues are relatively quick, just be prepared to sacrifice a couple hours at least for a proper supremacy match :) Peak Graphic for a game at 2017 btw!
addicting
This is one of the best games of all time in my opinion and it's a shame that it stopped getting updates. Maybe some day we will get battlefront 3.
This game is absolutely amazing, the graphics are awsome. and there is still full of people playing the game, it also has a story mode and singleplayer if you dont like being in multiplayer and if there is not many people playing in supremacy then you can go in co-op and play with four players. overall this game is amazing so please consider buying this game when its on sale because its just great.
