I bought this game 2 years after it launched, thinking Ubisoft would fix the bugs that made this game a laughing stock for the past years. They haven't. Quite frankly, the game has so many bugs (random crashing to desktop, save game corruption, enemies clipping through walls, no correct bump-mapping to name a few, that there wasn't an hour spent where I haven't run into something infuriating, and occasionally game breaking. Story-wise it is quite meh. Starts off nicely, but loses whatever little soul it has to the very clear Ubisoft copy-paste: some elements from Assassin's Creed, some elements from Ghost Recon, but seemingly the worst borrowed out of both. The game is a generic Star Wars title, and I can only recommend it if you're a die-hard fan and need to play every title in the universe. It fails as a stealth game, it fails as a heist game, it fails as a third person shooter, and it fails as an RPG. I have one comparable title that left the same impression: Hogwarts Legacy. Take a high-grossing IP, and make the most unoriginal game you can dream up within the confines of its narrative. Do not bother getting Deluxe, Gold or Ultimate editions - you'll barely look at those skins anyway. Only get the standard edition with a 60%+ discount (I got it for 20,99, and it still left a bitter taste for this price). You don't miss out on anything if you never play this game (or any other Ubisoft title produced in the last 5 years).

I don't understand the hate this game received, other than maybe major bugs at or near launch, of which I am happy to say I did not experience in my playthrough. I genuinely thoroughly enjoyed every moment and I'm glad I took the time to give it a proper playthrough! If you are on the fence do not let all the negativity sway you. The worlds are beautiful, the core gameplay loop is thoroughly enjoyable and there always seems to be something else to do or explore.
Absolutamente recomendable. Es cierto que las misiones de sindicatos son repetitivas, pero la historia principal es completamente apasionante, además el juego capta completamente el espíritu y la esencia del borde exterior. Se siente muy inmersivo llegar a una cantina y poder jugar una partida de sabbac. Los personajes son entrañables y maravillosos y los mundos resultan variados e interesantes. Además de las muchísimas referencias a toda la saga a lo largo de la obra. Absolutamente recomendable para quienes amen Star Wars.
Oof...within the first hour I knew this game would be pretty mediocre. I thought I'd let myself enjoy some scoundrel gameplay after playing Jedi Survivor and man was I disappointed. Stealth consists of enemies mindlessly walking in circles facing away from you to allow you to go and punch them in the face, which somehow is quiet. You're able to steal things from specific, highlighted people. I'm sure there's plenty to do once you reach the open world, but I decided to call it quits before that since even their linear first starting area was so drab and boring. Hopefully someday we can get a game good that isn't solely focused on Jedi gameplay, but this isn't it.
Почав грати в Star Wars Outlaws одразу після 007 First Light і був приємно здивований тим, що ця гра виявилася в рази кращою за оверхайплену версію Бонда. Звичайно, як і в будь-якої гри, тут є речі, які можуть не сподобатися. На мою думку, тут занадто багато зайвої «лівої» повістки. Якщо ще можна нормально сприймати Кей з її вподобаннями до одностатевих стосунків, то коли майже кожен другий прибулець виявляється нетрадиційної орієнтації — це вже, як на мене, перебір. Десь бачив в оглядах, що багатьом не сподобався антагоніст. Особисто для мене сюжет виглядав цілком хорошим. Так, не без нюансів, але загалом він мені сподобався. Космічна опера ніколи не була еталоном сюжетної глибини, і практично в кожній частині франшизи можна знайти недоліки. Тому вважаю, що основна історія разом із доповненнями вийшла дуже вдалою. Стосовно «тупого» AI ворогів — тут я бачу певне лицемірство. У тому ж 007 First Light моби поводяться не розумніше, але там це чомусь не заважає багатьом називати гру шедевром, а тут одразу: «Боже, як у це можна грати». Щодо зовнішності головної героїні теж не зовсім погоджуюся з критикою. Вона не виглядає як модель, але й не повинна. Кей Вес максимально схожа на дівчину, яка виросла в нетрях. Вона розумна, харизматична, має характер і добре прописана. Те саме можна сказати й про її вірного супутника Нікса — між ними справді відчувається хімія. Дуже сподобалася й еволюція дроїда ND-5, який чудово вписується в компанію Кей. Окремо хочу відзначити Сабак. Для мене ця мінігра стала своєрідним Гвінтом зі The Witcher 3. Я пройшов усі доступні столи й грав у неї із величезним задоволенням. Із недоліків можу відзначити кілька багів із квестами та один виліт гри. Особисто для мене це не стало критичною проблемою і точно не змусило кинути проходження. Загалом я рекомендую придбати гру разом із доповненнями. Ubisoft завжди вмів робити красиві відкриті світи та ефектну постановку сцен. А якщо ви ще й фанат Star Wars, то, найімовірніше, точно не будете розчаровані.
Terrible Protagonist, Heavy focus on graphics and nothing else. A classic Ubislop title, refunded after 41 minutes.
While I don't think it is necessarily as bad of a game as everyone online seems to believe, it is still impossible for me to recommend buying it. The story and main character are pretty well written, but the gameplay is boring and the visuals are grainy/blurry.
Not sure why this gets so much hate, the narrative is engaging and you really do feel like you're in the SW universe. Some systems are a little surface level, but it's a really enjoyable experience overall.
