About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Vale a pena
Compared to other truck sims, it really gives you the proper truck simulator space vibe. Although some areas might be just full of asteroids or junk, other cities will be full of traffic and therefore you need to focus even more not to hit something will doing the story or side quests. I can recommend it to those who are bored of the usual Euro Truck experience and want some more wild driving.
not much content, but at a sale absolutly worth it

It feels a little weird playing a spaceflight game without transverse thrusters and without HOTAS/joystick support (Joystick support has been added now AFAIK), but you get used to it in a reasonable time. I think a large part of the game is that the controls aren't ideal, since the challenge largely consists of dodging small rocks. It's a pretty chill little game, many of the early kinks have been ironed out. The main thing I do not like is that they still, after a year, haven't fixed the problem where you randomly hit a rock at light speed when going through a gate (knocking everything to 0%), nor have they fixed the fact that NPCs will ram you from when you have 3 trailers, because they only seem to avoid you by staying a set distance away from the truck it self. Also I am one achievement off of 100%. The level 50 achievement is a big grind compared to the rest. Level 40 would probably be more appropriate. I had completed every other achievement by level 38 at least. I also dislike hidden achievements from a completionist point of view, but you can just look them up, so it's fine.
Loving the game so far! I only think it would be nice to have at least these 2 features: 1) Sector maps, with custom waypoints. I would like to disable the UI markers but then I have no clue where I'm supposed to go for basic things like shopping, hull fixing etc. I could use a map (3D) of the sector where I am currently in to see where the locations already indicated in the galaxy map actually are. With the ability to snap to them and set custom waypoints. For example, I enter a sector, and I want to refuel. I don't remember where gas station is (or I have it disabled in the UI) - I can open the local map, get my bearings, maybe drop a waypoint, and anyway make my way to it. We are talking immersion here so another way to go about it would maybe be to have an integrated navigation system on the screens on board rather then game markers on the screen. 2) Keys shortcuts/binding. For frequent things like the docking clamp or the jump lever. It allows the use of the external camera for those who prefer it (the view out there is gorgeous! - what you can actually see from the cockpit is quite limited) and it is more practical anyway (gamepad here + looking around in first person is not exactly my first choice). --- Another thing that would make the hauling part of the game more rewarding: 3) Attach/detach additional trailers from different jobs. That way we can plan our route and actually use the job queue that exists in the UI. So far I can only do one job at a time. Also, to make this possible, we need access, in the job boards, to more jobs and them spanning over more locations, to plan in advance the additional steps after the first pick up. There are other minutiae like controller glyphs (I use a DS5) and little bugs here and there (like delivering the trailer in the drop zone and the job doesn't conclude, until it expires with a fine for abandoning the cargo), but honestly I don't care that much, the game is great already.
