No Voice acting? not even AI? At first I thought it was a hardware issue. This feels utterly wrong and makes the game as lifeless as a fancy spreadsheet.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have mixed feelings but ultimately this deserves a recommendation. Much like the TV show that inspired it, this game does some really good things but it also has some frustrating flaws. I'm very happy that I found this. It was quite enjoyable to re-visit the Voyager story and to uncover the interesting alternative choices. I think the writing was respectful to the source material and to Rodenberry's ideas, while also showing some different paths that Voyager could have taken. I enjoyed the decision making, both in the story, and in resource management. I won't be re-playing it right away, but I can tell there is good replay value. An annoying aspect was how I needed to scan each planet in a system one at a time, and hold my mouse button down for a couple of seconds to make it happen. This was super tedious, and should have been a one-click button to scan all planets in the system or even automatic. The dice rolls are really annoying at times. I tried to not save scum my way through, but sometimes it was necessary. I shouldn't need to exit to the main menu in order to be able to load a save. Lots of games are making this annoying design choice lately. While I have no complaints about how the game looks, I don't think my PC should be drawing 300+ watts for this level of graphics.
Really enjoyed, wasn't sure I would after reading some of the criticism but found it mostly unwarranted. I'd read that the difficulty was too hard, it wasn't, and that you were forced to make the choices from the show, you're not. Would really like some more DLC and future games set in Next Generation and Deep Space 9.
If you enjoyed the show, you'll more than likely enjoy this game. Highly recommend!
Man nimmt, was man kriegen kann. Picard-Facepalm.
I'm a lifelong Star Trek fan, but this was a slog. There's a ton of dialogue, but with nearly zero voice acting, it's painful to get through. Getting to kill Tuvix all over again doesn't make up for the core loop of hoping that RNGesus doesn't destroy a shuttle or the constant resource scarcity. Rather than focusing, as the show does, on the relationships between the main cast, you're frequently sending crew on away missions that you have to look up on memory alpha, but don't worry, it doesn't matter than your most effective operative is Hirogen - he'll never talk to you again. This might've been better as a roguelite a la BSG: Scattered Hopes.
Hat Spaß gemacht gerne mehr davon.
As a fan of Fallout Shelter (at least the gameplay of base building), I was a huge fan of the Westworld Mobile game, that added a bit on top of that gameplay story wise. Sadly that got shut down, for literally stealing code from Bethesda, but today that gameplay formula is back with a Star Trek Voyager coat of paint, and I couldn't be happier.
tldr: turn off the RNG and getting voyager home is like a Civ playthrough - Star Trek style. If you like Turn based strategy with full on min maxing and the real one more turn goodness - grab this game. If you like proper next generation era Voyager / Star Trek with no modern re-writes - grab this game. Tame the RNG quickly with the custom difficulty settings (No RNG = Turn based sandbox) You will learn how to beat most RNG checks most of the time as you get good. in Harder difficulties, overcoming losses and being forced to take different paths than the TV show is the final challenge and payoff. 100+ hours - money well spent.
