Game is clunky in place, particularly in combat. And the narrative missions can feel a bit arbitrary. I would normally cut a lot of slack about such things but the fact that the Day 1 DLC has so much story content, meaning you effectively need to buy the game twice, ruins the experience. Wait for a massive discount or spend your time and money elsewhere.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is pretty good, but the main thing is that it's both not fast enough and not long enough. That sounds paradoxical but stick with me. The sectors themselves are way too long given the lack of randomness, but the game itself being chunked into 12 sectors is a bit too short, because it doesn't cover the vast majority of actual fun stories and plots from the show. When I zone into any given sector and take a look at the side quests available, they tend to be the same ones consistently. This leads to a predictable flow within the game that doesn't allow much deviation at best, and kinda pisses you off at worst, because you may have failed a check to get an outcome you would have enjoyed thematically or would have been really good mechanically that blocks a decision you wanted to make several sectors down the line. Aside, this is a big problem, because the lack of randomness leads you to be extremely meta and have to follow a "perfect" flow to attain all your goals, making the same decisions over and over again, so that effective choices down the line become available. This is a clash between the "feel" of the game and the necessity of mechanical decision making. I would live to vibe with Tuvix in sector 2 but then you no longer have a telepath on the ship, locking you out of choices three or four sectors later. My solution to this is functionally that the DLC cannot actually be simply adding more Voyager plots, because they should be baseline in the game. I would have designed the side missions to include every single episode of Voyager and then picked the side quests randomly from the pool, relative to the time and sector you are in. This way, you're not just seeing Telek R'mor and his wormhole every single time. You're not railroaded into going to Avery III and deciding which B'elanna to rescue. You might just not have those options, you may instead run into some other early season nonsense, like meeting the 37s and Earhart can be a hero pilot instead of getting a Klingon engineer or a Romulan from the past. That's pretty much all I would really change. The core loop is fine. It's like playing Yoot Tower and Mass Effect 2's planetary scanning minigame at the same time, but in the Star Trek universe. I am fine with these things. I just want more variety because I love this show and the gamut that it runs is not being taken advantage of properly. The replayability is not totally there yet. You keep making the same decisions over and over because you only encounter the same anomalies over and over. Voyager encountered so much random nonsense, and I thought we would run into more of it. The game has really good bones, but it needs to be expanded further to be excellent.
tldr: If you liked Star Trek Voyager, you will love this game. If you don't know what Star Trek Voyager is, its a middling RNG resource based rogue like.
Nicht wo man will.
The strongest element is easily the atmosphere. The interiors of Voyager are recreated with obsessive attention to detail, from the humming engineering decks to the calm glow of the bridge consoles. The soundtrack also deserves praise, blending orchestral themes with subtle ambient tones that reinforce the loneliness of deep-space exploration. Fans of classic Trek aesthetics will likely spend plenty of time simply walking through the ship. Character writing is another highlight. Familiar personalities retain their recognizable traits without becoming caricatures. The interactions between officers feel authentic, especially during tense moments where command decisions divide the crew. Optional dialogue sequences add depth and help the player feel involved in the ship’s internal dynamics rather than just observing them. Gameplay, however, is less consistent. Exploration sections are engaging at first, but mission structure eventually becomes repetitive. Scanning anomalies, gathering resources, and solving environmental puzzles often follow predictable patterns. Combat is serviceable but lacks tactical depth, especially compared to stronger modern sci-fi strategy or RPG titles. Enemy AI can also behave erratically, reducing tension during larger encounters. Technically, the game lands somewhere in the middle. Visual design is impressive in controlled story moments, particularly in nebulae and alien environments, but facial animations and NPC movement can feel dated. Performance issues occasionally interrupt immersion, especially during effects-heavy space battles. For dedicated Trek fans — especially admirers of Star Trek: Voyager — this is an easy recommendation despite its flaws. Players looking for fast-paced action or groundbreaking mechanics may find it too slow and traditional, but those willing to embrace exploration and storytelling will discover a respectful and surprisingly heartfelt journey into the Delta Quadrant. A faithful and atmospheric return to Voyager that captures the soul of Star Trek, even if its gameplay systems occasionally struggle to keep pace with its ambitions. I didn't even think I liked this genre of game, but it was Trek, so I gave the demo a shot and was like, "Okay, this could be fun." Bought it on sale during the Summer Sale and 24+ hours later...well, I guess I like this genre of game. And as far as a Trek game goes, it's fantastic. I would love it if we were able to see, say, an Enterprise or TNG variant of this, though Voyager is pretty unique in terms of resource collection and whatnot in the story due to being lost in the Delta Quadrant, so I don't know how it would work with other Trek series. The systems in the game aren't overly complicated (which I appreciate) and the tutorials in the beginning keep it nice and simple. If I had one complaint, it's that I wish I could skip through up to and past the Caretaker's Array faster in subsequent playthroughs, but that's just nitpicky and impatient on my part. If you're a Trek fan, at least give the demo a shot to see if the full game would be your jam.
As an avid gamer & obsessive fan of Star Trek I was very excited when hearing about this project shortly before its release. Being able to play through the misadventures of the Voyager crew & experience outcomes unique to this format is pretty satisfying. Unfortunately the narrative progress is about the only thing about this game that I enjoy. Resource/colony management simulation is not a genre that I enjoy (other than Rimworld). The POI resolution dice roll is the opposite of fun & I can think of half a dozen ways this aspect of the game could have been handled to increase the feeling of player agency & engagement. Even on easy mode staying ahead of the resource requirements necessary to fulfil crew requests feels tedious and frustrating. I don't wish to spend more time articulating my individual gripes with the gameplay, suffice to say, story progression = good, minuet to minuet gameplay = bad/not fun. So why the recommend? As much as I find playing this to be not much more than a slog, I generally want more of anything Star Trek related to exist. Though this particular gaming experience doesn't suit my preferences, it's success could lead to more developers pursuing the Trek ip, which would be a win for any fan of the franchise. In summary, not my cuppa earl grey but I'm glad it exists.

https://youtu.be/1i6VNzC5sMQ
