For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An open world game very fun and with great music and vibes. It has a lot of jank but a really good game nonetheless
english below français: Ok, j'ai découvert l'existence du jeu via sa démo, qui m'avait, à l'époque, beaucoup plu. English : Okay, I discovered the game through its demo, which I really enjoyed at the time. But now that I’ve finished the full game, I can’t say the same. Let’s start from the beginning: The good: The game has a very clean, minimalist art style that works really well. I didn’t encounter any bugs or frame rate drops throughout my playthrough. The map is fun to explore (except toward the end—I’ll get back to that), and almost all the powers you unlock for the hero are interesting. The bad: The overboard can be very finicky at times, making certain movements frustrating, and some areas (especially the green zone and the mountains) make the surfing experience quite tedious. The combat is mediocre, and by the end, you face groups of ennemies that each require a specific power, making everything confusing. The character and animations are also quite slow. The story is as cliché as it gets. Without spoiling, you’re lost on a supposedly hostile planet trying to find your companion, but halfway through, you can already see the ending coming from a mile away. The skill tree is underwhelming and doesn’t add much, and the overboard upgrade system is confusing, which leads me to another point: There are way too many unnecessary side activities and collectibles, ranging from cosmetic surf customizations to entire “dungeons” just for skill points. The music, based on the demo and the videos I’d seen, I expected an electro/pop/synthwave style, especially since the character fights with a keytar… But the soundtrack is just generic rock, and it’s missing in 80% of the game (no music while surfing). There are plenty of other small positives and negatives I haven’t mentioned—some to avoid spoilers, others I’ve just forgotten. In conclusion, I think this game is the definition of “average.” I wish Steam had a “neutral” rating button. When the game works, especially when you’re cruising on the overboard, it’s a pleasant experience, but it still has quite a few flaws. If you like retro-futuristic open worlds with puzzles, give it a try.
I've been giving this a shot since I was searching for something like Zelda and I hav emoderate expectations since people is saying good thing about this game: Pros: - Hoverboard: I've never seen anything like this in any other game, moving around is FUN and it is the core of the game - Combat: the powers of the keytar makes it incredibly satisfying and creative, and the hoverboard that helps you in combat its a nice touch to give even more variety - Story: Nous is a great character, towards the end is a bit too emotional and I didn't expect that - World: exploration is interesting and the world is big, but you never feel overwhelmed by the content since you move very fast with the overboard. - Puzzles: they are the right balance, they don't treat me like if I was dumb. - Polish: I did not encountered any visible problem Cons: - The content does not seems to match the Zelda one, is a much smaller game - Crafting is just there, but is not an highlight of the game and I feel thay could do something more - The jump pad tutorial it's hard and I had to whatch youtube to pass it. - Sometimes I have a general sense of "roughness", but it's an indie title so it's ok. Conclusions: Star Overdrive it's a unique experience that I recommend for everyone that is searching something little different.
"Star Overdrive is a game that, I must say, really surprised me. It immediately throws you into a visually intriguing world where the best part is, obviously, the hoverboard. The surfing in this game feels incredible; the feedback and physics you get from the board and the character are top-notch. Add to that the ability to upgrade the hoverboard's stats, increasing speed, propulsion, power, etc. (no major spoilers here), and it makes the whole experience even more dynamic and exciting. The puzzle elements in the challenges are also a great addition. Taking inspiration from Zelda, they still manage to give the environment and the puzzles their own unique identity, making them thoroughly enjoyable and fun. Lastly, I have to mention the music: throughout this entire journey, you're accompanied by an amazing rock soundtrack that pumps up the gameplay even more. I highly, highly recommend it."
Well writen dialogue, good tunes! When it comes to the mechanical gameplay I did feel like I was constantly going out of logic and fighting the controls/physics. A lot of objectives and items feel almost unreachable and even after completing the story I don't think I'd enjoy 100%ing the game just from the effort I'd have to put into manouvering a hoverboard that feels like it could've been a lot smoother. I am sure that there are some things you can do with the crafting system to improve that experience to a degree, but it was pretty convoluted and not very well explained so I just kept dumping items and eventually I think my board was good enough, I beat the game with it after all.
