Ran great on Steam Deck OLED. Fun roguelike. Not too deep since there are not upgrade synergies. Easy to pick up and play. Runs can be paused between sessions.
Monolith was lowkey a better name
Больно но прикольно
A really cool and fun roguelike bullet hell. Controls are very tight and responsive, patterns are really interesting, and the weapons are a lot of fun. It gets extremely hard as you progress which is a positive or a negative depending who you are, I tapped out after beating hard mode. My only real complaint is sometimes it can feel like you are getting walled by what upgrades/gun you find. Obviously in a literal sense it isn't true since if you are just good at dodging you could beat the game with base stats almost certainly, but when even the trial mode will give you damage upgrades to go through it sometimes it feels like that part matters the most. This feels the worst when you get to a later stage and just can't find anything helpful if you ran out of ammo. Again you can get around this if you just dodge good enough (and there's some boss armor anyways), but weapon type and such can end up mattering a lot. It also takes a long time to get to the difficult parts just to make another attempt. Getting back to the boss I died at could take like 40 minutes or so, depending how much you explore. Though it's usually bad to not explore (lack of money and stats), plus the way it's designed you can't really just like rush to the ends of levels since you need to find and beat minibosses which are just somewhere on the floor. It can feel a bit repetitive at this level, but also I think it's fair if after 20 hours I start to see repetitiveness lol. But the game is such a blast regardless of any gripes I have. I genuinely haven't felt this sense of like discovery in while. The first 10 or so hours you just keep finding new things, weird hidden areas, alternate bosses, even just a weapon you've never seen before. There's also a lot of weapon variety (though with toggles if you dislike certain ones which is really nice) which tends to mean even if you see the same rooms a lot it can be different in how you have to approach them. I imagine this is a game I'll eventually return to after a break and put a lot more time into it. But it's such a neat and unique experience I for sure recommend it.
yeah i'd say its solid. bought this to scratch just a classic bullet hell itch and it does that, I feel a little bit like rougelikes get some of their fun from having high ceilings of broken overpowered stupid builds, and there's not much of that, (so far) but its doing exactly what it's trying to do.
i mean idk it's the best game ever made lowkey
