Great port of the original that fixes some of the character balance issues from the PS1 game.
Um remake fantástico que traz muitas melhorias e qualidade de vida comparadas ao jogo original. O gráfico é lindo e a fluidez das batalhas são viciantes. Os personagens são cativantes e um ponto bem legal é as várias interações que alteram os níveis de amizade entre eles que influenciam no final do jogo. A história te prende ao ponto de você querer conversar com todos NPCs para buscar cada detalhe que enriqueça o enredo. Um RPG bem objetivo mas com bastante conteúdo pós game. Curti!

Probably the best HD-2D remake of a classic PSX JPRG yet. The graphics are gorgeous. It implemented quite a few quality-of-life improvements (like sped-up dialogue) that I now really miss in other games. My one major criticism is combat: SO2 probably has the worst game balance of any JRPG I played. Even in the lowest difficulty you will find spikes and unfair boss fights (looking at you, endgames bosses spamming their abilities every 2s). So even if you are just playing for the story in the lowest difficulty you are forced to deal with the many, many mechanics SO2 throws at you. While for me and others nostalgia is probably doing quite a bit of lifting, it is still a good game. Recommended.

It's a wonderful remake, although there were a few changes I didn't like, the ones I did like far outweighed them. Why First Departure R is not on Steam, that makes no sense.
