Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
I cannot recommend this game enough, the abilities you can learn in and out of combat add layers of fun to game. I enjoyed this game from beginning to end. Steam only registered 65 hours of my gameplay but I actually played 98 hours due to offline play and that was with one playthrough and without playing the post game dungeon. I will eventually play it again with the other protagonist and then do the end game content. Honestly its a game that keeps giving.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good remake of a classic.
Really good remake of a game that is both true to the original and updates what's outdated. The counter system is jank but it can be completely ignored to have an almost identical combat experience to the original. If you never played before, it can be cleared in about 35ish hours (at least the main story) and has almost 100 different ending combinations, depending on each character's relation to each other, and more characters than slots available, so there's good replay value. SO2 also belongs to the category of games that let you crack them wide open, but still have really challenging super bosses. You can get -extremely- powerful, but to get through everything you're kind of expected to, which is fun and rewarding. Lots of replayability, good challenge on Universe difficulty, and plenty of post-game content to take a crack at. Can't recommend enough
good game and one of the better jrpg combat systems. unfortunetly the devs decided to put certain items behind RNG (item box or blacksmithing), which is just utter crap. load-spamming required to get certain items.
Meteor paaalm
The depth of the gameplay mechanics in this game is off the charts. Patience and knowledge is key (your knowledge of the mechanics). Story is refreshingly simple. Chaos difficulty is really something. Grinding pays off. It's been a while since ive played a game that allows you to be this creative. 9.7/10 This is a must for old school jrpg fans. Make sure to bring your gamepad.
This is how all old school remakes should be done. I had an absolute amazing time playing this game!
