Ultimately an enjoyable game. Some balancing and qol issues but find it quite relaxing and fun to explore and collect all the Stackmon.

Game is a fun twist to creature collection genre and now the save problem is fixed i recommend this game to people that like creature collecting and resource management.
Hella fun and cool game design concept.
Gutes Spiel, welches ein paar Quality of life Anpassungen benötigt um in dem Genre perfekt zu sein
Very addicting and satisfying to play. A lot more in depth then I thought it was going to be.
I have spent all my free time these past few days, playing Stackmon. If someone asked me today, how I feel about that, I would say I regret it. There are fun elements in the game, the creature designs are mostly good and funny and discovering recipies / card combinations is fun at first. But, damn, taking a step back, this feels more like an incremental game than anything else, and I did not sign up for that, at least not knowingly. Past hour ~5, everything feels grindy, slow, sloggy. From leveling up my stackmon to even just 'earning the right' to go out adventuring. Yeah, earning the right, because going out adventuring requires that you have a currency earned mainly through doing mundane tasks. Tasks like giving away stuff you came across while adventuring, or, more commonly, stuff that you created in your base. The whole system feels like it was added because they made all these fun recipes with item combinations, and they needed a way to "force" players to use them. To me, it felt like a tax I had to pay, in order to play the game. Looking back at it now, I don't know why that whole system exists. And it is not the type where you beat up monsters or actively progress towards your goals. Instead, I spent probably half my playtime alternating between 2x-game-speed and pausing, waiting for tasks to be resolved, before queueing up my stackmon for the next task. I don't know if I will be returning to the game, but I know that I need a break from it.
