More of a budget Trepang 2, with elements of FEAR and other bullet time shooters. The premise is simple, graphically it does look it's age, but again that's the appeal of it. No abilities, or skills simply run-and-gun using parkour, wall running and quick reflexes with the bullet time ability whilst staying on the move. There are the usual pick-up items such as armour, ammunition and of course health and with the pace and speed of the game it means quickly dispatching enemies, collecting what you can and quickly turn on the next oncoming enemies. Plot wise, it's a Cyberpunk-esque tale of corporations, military dictatorships and other common tropes but the gameplay is what keeps you playing. Even at full price, worth buying but at sale even better feeling you get knowing you got value for money.
i mean its alright like the things i like: very good soundtrack that stuck with me, consistently good level design, voice acting, good artstyle with nice designs the issues: early game weapons feel useless later on - none of the weapons besides the pistol really drew me to them and its just useless for the latter half, the game eats half of my clicks which makes it really annoying to play at times (this could just be a me issue. hope you wont have the same experience) its a solid boomer shooter! i recommend playing it, just wasnt too outstanding in anything imo

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun to play with a great visual design.
Fair story, ok-ish movement, terrible guns, unreasonable difficulty spikes. The gun selection is odd: 1) Pistol: Great for long distance before you get gun #6 2) Shotgun: Great for short distance, too slow to kill certain enemies before they recover from stagger 3) SMG: Absolutely trash range and damage, the shotgun has better range 4) Grenade launcher: Can't use often because you need the ammo for the mechs 5) Minigun: Slows you down which has no place in a movement shooter 6) Railgun: Virtually a sniper, but doesn't penetrate enemies 7) Rocket launcher: Shoots a volley of rockets that spreads with distance and do not track enemies Episode 1 was fun and engaging, then Episode 2 was mildly annoying, then Episode 3 was absolute frustrating. Episode 3, which I assume is the last one because I couldn't defeat the episode boss, is where everything falls apart: - Quite a few instances of "where the ♥♥♥♥ do I go now"? - You end up constantly concerned about ammo because you need to avoid using guns 3, 4, 5, and 7 for the reasons shared above; - The game throws everything and the kitchen sink at you with the plot excuse, and, again, your tool selection is limited thanks to the bad weapon design; - The game doesn't know if it wants to be a shooter or a platformer. If I wanted to play a platformer, I would play Mario 64. - Finally, the straw that broke the camel's back, the last boss. You can only hit it properly with projectiles, so you're limited to guns 1, 2, 5, and 6. SMG range is too short, minigun slows you down and you eat damage, and rocket launcher goes everywhere it shouldn't. To make matters worse, the arena occasionally floods with mobs of 6-7 enemies swarming you with barely any ammo around to replenish your reserves. If you're interested in it wait for a historical low because it can provide a few hours of entertainment before you want to punch your monitor.
it's ok, you mix titanfall 2 and quake and you get sprawl, everything about it is fine, if you get your hands on it you sure got something else to play atleast.
A well-seasoned blend of VERY refined elements; tight simple controls, sensible difficulty, impressive visuals working in tandem with a highly-stylized retro artstyle, exceptional music and sound design, intelligently-utilized setting, bleak atmosphere-- I could ramble but I won't. It's peak. Incredible game, treat yourself.
in some shooters some weapons are usually left behind at the end of the game but with this game almost every weapon has is purpose even in the later levels, the magnum for example even in the later level where still useful for some low armoured enemies especially for getting rid of them by attacking their weaknesses, the shotgun it's the MVP here with being so powerful that it can damage heavy armoured enemies too so if explosive aren't around you can still use something to kill them but, is useful in parkour too by being excellent of launching seven into space with the recoil, the only weapon I didn't really understand is the chaingun, sure it's really powerful and it can eliminate enemies in seconds, but it's really heavy and slow down the action too much getting you expose to enemy attacks not muly favourite, it's really the only complaint I have some strange things about some of the weapons, because the rest of the gameplay and gameplay loops are really solid but some weapons have some strange quirks that I don't understand. The graphics are outstanding, love the whole aesthetic that like I said before reminded me a lot of ghost in the shell especially the first episode reminded me of the chase scen from the movie. If you love fast paced shooter with some really interesting mechanics and loops with an cyberpunk aesthetic and Tone this game is for you, highly recommended.
If you like Boomer-Shooters in general, you're gonna like SPRAWL. While the game isn't the deepest in terms of mechanics, most of the guns are really fun to use, and the game feels very smooth with the movement. I really like how much wall running is involved, and having the dash/slide as one button is genius. Level design is good but sometimes a bit confusing, at least for me. You can clearly see a lot of inspirations here, from cyberpunk aesthetics to the old school Doom-style gameplay (obviously). Some areas also reminded me a lot of Argent Tower level from Doom 2016, especially near the end. The music fits the dystopian cyberpunk vibe really well, although it can get a bit repetitive and annoying after a while. Having a female protagonist is something I rarely see in this genre of games, so I really appreciated that. All in all, I had a really fun time with SPRAWL. It's a great game for what it is, and an easy recommendation if you're into boomer shooters.
hell yeah
pretty much quake 1/2 with wall running, sliding, shotgun the ground for an extra jump, with a sweet slo-mo mechanic that i adore because im a big F.E.A.R fan. this game is a blast
