For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

A very fun boomer shooter! Does feel unfair at certain points but I feel that can be easily fixed with some QOL updates. Really liking all the different weapons and enviormental puzzles. I feel like this game is gonna be fun to replay and speedrun!
No loot hoarding, power comes from upgrades and as a true boomer shooter, it delivers punishing yet rewarding gameplay with unique weapon mechanics
Fun shooter with really cool original ideas. Though it's a bit janky in some places.

It has its strengths and potential. Just feels like an unfinished demo. Cannot recommend it yet, but I would rather give it a positive in support of what has been done right thus far. The gameplay surrounds finding guns to shoot robots, but not in the boomer shooter way of "You have this gun. Find ammo". One gun = one clip, and then you just throw the gun away. That COULD of course work, if the physics and movement worked better. The physics are quite wild all the time, and sometimes you just don't even know how things exploded. I do believe that going more in the way of Borderlands/Gunfire Reborn could do great things for this game, and potentially even make it a lot more fun without that much change into it. Truly does feel like it needed more playtests, and to analyse what people like/don't like as they did. Just a bit more time in the oven, since the assets are already there. I got really tired from like a 20 minutes run that quickly made me really lost as in "what I'm doing" and "where I progress to", specially with the amount of locked doors everywhere. Not saying the first level represents the entirety of the game, but your first level should be the most polished. That alongside with many other game design choices that are important to be learned in order to make a more enjoyable game. That and, of course, something to make it more "memorable". Not saying this as a heavy criticism towards the developer, just take my words for it, you can make this a lot more enjoyable with just a little bit more game design in mind. Some of the other things that feel wrong: - Shock enemies are hard to spot and can easily just make you slow and confused without even knowing what happened. They do the same effect as the "light beams", so it can be very confusing. - Physics are quite wild. You collide with something, and it feels as if that something does not collide back with you. It feels like the player is a ton heavy. - Guns are quickly recyclable, and feel like you're just constantly looking for scrap to survive. - It needs a calmer introduction, rather than "just busting into action". Highly recommend playing Quake and Doom (1993) and study the way they progress - Not just the full-of-combat moments. - It's weird to have to choose between 3 mechanics, only the gravity one feel like it does anything. It feels like it could be more worked towards replayability if the other tools were done right. - The shooting overall just feels like the default "feel" of Unity store FPS assets (In specific FPS Engine) Just take my words for it and you'll have a hit. I'm not even kidding. You already have the game done anyway. Note: Played on Normal difficulty. Played with the gravity gloves.
I would definitely highlight the music, which perfectly complements the game's environment, and the promised combat style certainly didn't disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my already high expectations. Levels can be mindlessly shot through, but the game also has side rooms for finding codes to locked doors and skill points for improving combat skills. So, I definitely recommend the game.
it needs more time in the oven, driver timeouts (only happened once i launched the game, i had 4 or 5 in a row) and the camera jolts around like crazy. from the little i played its fun, but i can't actually play due to the issues. 7900 XTX, 7800X3D and 32 GB DDR5 are my specs
I can't hate this, but it feels half-baked. There are some great ideas, like the augment arm and the gunplay element. But the game is short and unpolished. But it is a great example of great ideas, poor execution, so thumbs up as a cautionary tale. I hope the devs' next game will be polished, because they have a really unique perspective.
Machinicide – A Fast-Paced FPS Gem If you love old-school shooters with a modern twist, Machinicide is a must-play. This game combines the best elements of classic boomer shooters with innovative mechanics that make it stand out in the genre. From the moment you jump into the action, Machinicide delivers non-stop adrenaline. The movement is smooth and fluid, allowing for dynamic combat that keeps you on your toes. The arsenal of weapons feels powerful and satisfying, and the addition of unique abilities like telekinesis and gravity manipulation adds a fresh layer of strategy. Visually, the game embraces a stylish and distinct aesthetic, blending retro-futuristic designs with vibrant effects. The soundtrack is another highlight—energetic and immersive, perfectly complementing the chaotic yet thrilling gameplay. What truly makes Machinicide special is its balance between challenge and fun. Enemies are relentless, and the bullet-hell-inspired combat keeps you constantly engaged. Yet, the game never feels unfair—it rewards skill, creativity, and quick reflexes. Overall, Machinicide is a hidden gem for FPS fans. It offers fast, engaging gameplay, a fantastic atmosphere, and an exciting arsenal to experiment with. If you’re looking for a fresh, action-packed shooter, this game is well worth your time!
The game turned out to be cool, but there are many nuances, for example, that there are no first-aid kits at the beginning of the level, you enter the location with 10 hp and you need to survive, as well as a bug with the possibility that you will spawn right in the midst of robots, and so the game
ENG/SK ENG: Machinicide – Crazy janky robot action that just needs a bit more polish... Machinicide isn't just your run-of-the-mill retro boomer shooter; it’s a wild mix of FPS, immersive sim elements, physics, and bullet hell chaos. The game completely scraps reloading—every gun has only a single magazine, and once it's empty, you simply chuck it into a robot's face like a grenade. This makes the combat loop insanely fast and fluid. On top of that, your robotic arm lets you manipulate gravity, hurl objects at enemies with telekinesis, and turns boss fights into a deeply satisfying storm of projectiles. However, the fun core gameplay is held back by unpolished level design and technical jank. Map navigation is frustratingly unclear, packed with locked doors and ambiguous objectives (like an electrified water section) where it’s easy to get stuck. Movement can feel clunky at times, the physics engine tends to go haywire, and the difficulty spikes out of nowhere—leaving you at 1% health without knowing what hit you. Verdict: When the combat loop clicks, you feel like an unstoppable, overclocked robot, delivering pure, chaotic fun. If you can turn a blind eye to the weak level design and rough technical edges, definitely give it a shot. (Recommended for fans of unconventional retro FPS games) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SK: Machinicide – Bláznivá jank robotická akcia, ktorá potrebuje ešte trochu polishu... Ak dokážete prižmúriť oko nad slabším level dizajnom a technickými nedokonalosťami, určite jej dajte šancu. (Odporúčam fanúšikom netradičných retro FPS)
