About
SPRAWL zero is a first-person shooter inspired by 2000s console FPS games. Both the aesthetics and design sensibility call back to the Golden Age, where the genre evolved from shooting in corridors to building worlds.
You play as FIVE, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier controlled by the Junta. Your directive is to eliminate SILAS, leader of the radical techno-religious group IMAGO-DEI. The city will plunge into chaos as all factions known and unknown grasp for the reins. Reconcile your truths or succumb to the SPRAWL.
Combat in SPRAWL zero is fast-paced but grounded. Enemy squads will communicate and coordinate to wrestle the advantage. Flanks, covering fire, and grenades will flush you out, creating dynamic firefights inspired by classics like F.E.A.R. and Halo.
In your hands, FIVE must outsmart and outmaneuver the opposition using any advantage possible. Catch their bullets and throw them right back with the Gravity Shield, or bend your shots midair with Bullet-Time for inhuman precision. A massive arsenal of weapons and FIVE’s cybernetics are your tools of destruction.
Gravity Gloves, Gravity Shield, and Rushdown expand combat beyond gunplay, enabling aggressive pushes, defensive play, and physics-driven encounters. No problem has just one solution.
Handcrafted levels feature multiple paths, verticality, and alternate approaches, rewarding experimentation and replayability. Push aggressively, play tactically from cover, or dominate encounters through physics-based combat. Player agency was a fundamental pillar of Y2K design, and SPRAWL zero accommodates players to find their own niche.

It was just ok, Imo. The presentation was great, music, visuals, enemy and weapon variety. Everything was good except for the shooting fundamentals. I just didn't like the style of FPS this game took on, I would have preferred one a bit more classic with some extra movement. The telekinesis is a great idea utilized well in a lot of shooters, and i don't have an issue with it at all, i just hate how i have to use it ALL the time because i fire one mag of a gun and need to grab a new one again. Also having some sort of vertical movement ability would have been nice here because of how vertical and expansive the levels feel at times. Maybe a grapple, jetpack, etc. and allowing it to be followed up by melee slam attack, that would have been sick. Also, having all of the abilities being tied to one energy meter really hurt the flow of the game for me, I would have preferred to have each be a bit weaker overall but tied to their own cooldown, rather than using one and then being out of energy for another you may want to use soon after. I think the main reason this game didn't click super well for me is it tried to hard to break the mold of a classic shooter, while being inspired by a lot of more classic shooters, i found that a bit strange. I hope if they make a third game that it ends up being more of a combination of their first and second game with some sort of player choice of abilities and ability upgrades. Something like Doom 2016 or Halo infinite.
Tha game is a massive blast, best of my TOP3 boomer-shooters list among Turbo Overkill and Cultic. Guns are so satisfying and all of them is a pleasure to use!
The original sprawl was very boomer shooty (it even had episode 1, 2 and 3) in zer0 it slows down the move speed and makes gunfights more deliberate. And the soundtrack is amazing. absolutely amazing
"The hand of God rests upon your skull."
Most of the game is really good and the gameplay is fun GENUENLY DID NOT EXPECT TO HAVE THIS MUCH FUN. the final bossfight kinda stinks a bit imo and the 8th level wasn't really my cup of tea but the rest of the game was really awesome
A very different direction than the previous game, but a much better game on every level.
I had just wrapped up playing the first Sprawl only a day before this one came out, so I had some expectations going into this game for what I could expect. Expectations that were completely shattered in the best way. Dropping the fast-paced boomer shooter gameplay from the previous game for a slower, more methodical approach is where this game really shines. Maps are more deliberately designed to be approached from many different playstyles, and there's enough weapon and enemy placement and variety to keep each individual mission interesting. This game stands alone this year as a game that can hang even with the old classics it pays homage to, and I can't recommend it enough.
