SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated

If you like(d) the show you'll like the game. If you like exploring or going at your own pace this game is nearly perfect for that. If you want a game that doesn't take itself extremely seriously then this is for you. This game is pretty atmospheric and the music is great, and the ambience is fairly good. The gameplay is centered around a "lobby" area (which you begin the game in), where you choose mostly freely where you want to go next. Areas are never permanently locked and you are encouraged to explore / think outside of the box. Some fights or puzzles are relatively difficult, but overall the game is definitely on the easier side. Game was made in UE4, looks very nice, and performs amazingly with my hardware, but there are some nitpicks I could make relating to surface smoothing and prop placement. However those don't outweigh the previously mentioned good sides of the game.

Всем привет. Итак, что можно сказать про данную игру… Собственно, она про Губку Боба. Кратко и точно. Это добротно сделанная игра по вселенной известного мультипликационного произведения. Чисто фанатский продукт. Если Вы не знаете ничего про этот мульт, то, скорей всего, она вряд ли чем-то зацепит. Это, по сути, еще одна серия Губки Боба, в которой Планктон облажался. Опять. По геймплею - это набор мини игр и головоломок, разбавленных платформенным элементом. Допрыгиваете по пересеченной местности до какого-нибудь мистера Крабса (деньги-деньги), он дает Вам некую задачу, вы ее выполняете и взамен получаете золотую лопатку. Если хотите можете пособирать ароматные носки Патрика на уровне, чтобы получить опять же золотую лопатку. Собственно в этом весь геймплей. Сами миниигры весьма разнообразные. Сложность их растет по мере прохождения сюжета. Причем если первые уровни играются просто влет, то последние заставляют поскрежетать зубами. Не сильно, но тем не менее. Поиграть дают за трех персонажей: за самого Губку Боба, за его незадачливого друга Патрика и безбашенную техасскую белку Сэнди. У них свои наборы навыков и умелок, так что приходится порой переключатся между ними, чтобы пройти уровень. Впрочем весь сок этой игры не в геймплее и не в графике, которая вполне неплоха. Тут все дело в юморе. В специфическом, слегка придурковатом, юморе вселенной Губки Боба. Начиная от его безумного смеха… Смех… В отличии от звонкого веселого смеха в русской локализации мультика, в английском оригинале он просто выжигает мозг. Сквидвард, брат… терпения тебе… Ну так вот, начиная от безумного смеха, заканчивая тем, что в роли жизней у нас выступают чистые портки главного героя. Сэнди, например, по этому поводу постоянно жалуется, какого черта ей приходится носить трусы Боба) Так что если любите Спанч Боба - добро пожаловать на борт. Лично мне все понравилось.

I grew up playing this game and fell in love with it. I played through this game maybe 3 or 4 times? I had fond memories of it since it was probably the second game I was obsessed with for a little, and to this day it blows my mind that the one spongebob game I found at a garage sale had a dedicated enough community to have gotten a remake. I played through the remake on Xbox One back when it released, but this game always goes dirt cheap during sales. If you're at all interested in 3D platformers or collectathons, this game is easily worth your time :]

Ein Rework von einem damals unfassbar erfolgreichen SpongeBob SquarePants-Spiel. Und ganz ehrlich: Mein Nostalgie-Herz hatte da direkt Bock drauf. Vor allem, weil THQ für mich früher einfach der Entwickler war. So viele gute Spiele… das war ein Stück Kindheit. Also: Spiel gestartet – und ja, man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe da reingeflossen ist. Alles sieht wunderschön aus, modernisiert, aber trotzdem fühlt es sich an wie früher. Diese Momente, wo man plötzlich wieder schmunzeln muss, weil ein Gag genau so sitzt wie damals – das hat echt funktioniert. Aber… und das ist der Punkt: Mein Nostalgie-Bedürfnis war ziemlich schnell gesättigt. Ich hab’s nicht mal durchgespielt. Nicht, weil es schlecht ist – sondern weil es mir irgendwann einfach nichts Neues mehr gegeben hat. Es lebt stark von diesem „Weißt du noch damals?“-Gefühl… und wenn das einmal bedient ist, war’s das für mich. Fazit: Für Kinder? Perfekt. Ehrlich – Kids ab 6, die SpongeBob SquarePants mögen, kann man das ohne Bedenken vorsetzen. Die werden damit richtig Spaß haben. Und ganz ehrlich: Wer braucht Roblox, wenn man so ein liebevoll gemachtes Spiel haben kann? Für Nostalgiker wie mich: Schön für einen kurzen Trip in die Vergangenheit – aber nichts, was mich langfristig gehalten hat.

Juego bastante entretenido, al final me lo pasé al 100% (logros incluidos), desde niño me gusta Bob Esponja y me divierte con mis 21 años de este juego!!
