I never played the original game as a kid, but watched the show heavily growing up. The remake doesn't really capture to look and atmosphere of the show, before the first movie. I watched a couple gameplay videos of the original release and it does a way better job replicating the show. Gameplay wise, I had a great time playing it. The boss battles, while not that difficult, each had their own charm. The level design has a lot of variation and the platforming / puzzles were fun to get through. I did find myself playing mostly as SpongeBob and Sandy, then Patrick only when I absolutely had to. There were a lot of cool callbacks to the show and many of the jokes got a laugh outta me. I did encounter some weird graphical glitches, and I would also get stuck and couldn't move in completely unobstructed spaces. I got this on sale for $6 and it was well worth it to play after all these years. I do wish this was a bit more polished and retained the look of the original.

Я разочарована. Игра мне показалась интересной, уровни динамичными, и поиск предметов был местами напряженным. В общем, все шло хорошо, но в конце случился баг, и я не смогла достать один носок, из-за чего я не смогла получить три последних достижения. Меня это расстроило. Это никак не исправить кроме как проходить заново. Все потраченное время в миг обесценилось🥲

Игра отпад, ремастер выше всех похвал. Играл в ориг очень давно, теперь в старшем возрасте с новой графикой проходить было кайфом. На геймпаде играть особое удовольствие. Хоть игра и проходится за часов 6 , ну лопатки собирать тот еще гемор. Трусы и лопатки еще долго будут сниться после прохождения. 10 вонючих носков патрика из 10.
