Split/Second is an intense action racing game set within a reality TV show. Competitors vie to be the first to the finish line in a set rigged to blow. Players don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them from the track, but can also trigger devastating events that alter the race dynamics.

An explosive, action-packed arcade racer. With 215.7 hours of playtime, this remains one of the most unique racing games ever created. It completely flips the traditional racing genre on its head. Mechanics & Destruction Rating: Instead of just focusing on racing lines, you trigger massive environmental hazards to destroy your opponents. Dropping airplanes on the track, exploding ships, or collapsing entire buildings to open shortcuts is incredibly satisfying. | - - - | | 9.5/10 | | - - - | Handling Rating: The driving is purely arcade, meant to keep you drifting at high speeds while dodging explosions. It is a fantastic, high-energy palate cleanser when taking a break from hardcore simulators. | - - - | | 8.5/10 | | - - - | Recommend? Absolutely. It is essentially a Michael Bay movie turned into a racing game.
Best racing game I've ever played. I love the formula and the gameplay. They need to remake it. It's just as good today as it was when it first came out. I never beat it back then but am extremely glad I got to play it again. Incredible.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For all having that camera backwards problem: Press excape, and then use alt and tabulaat, then go back to the game with alt tab and press excape again to get back into game play. Good luck, have fun.
Split/Second — 8/10 A massive wave of nostalgia hit playing this again. Split/Second packs an unfiltered, high-octane energy that modern lobotomy racing games (cough FH6 cough) just can't seem to replicate anymore. It’s super cheap and runs effortlessly on pretty much anything—making it perfect to throw on a laptop and grind out a few events during work or college breaks. It keeps things straightforward and focuses purely on 360-era arcade explosion chaos. If you're tired of modern multiplayer bloat and just want raw, fast-paced racing you can pick up and play anytime, this is an easy pickup.

Overall I like this game and have a soft spot for it, and will probably come back to play it in the future, but this port is bad and the gameplay hasn't aged the best. Compared to other racers on the market, this is barely a racer. Your actual driving prowess, strategy, track knowledge, etc. doesn't really matter in the end, and it's all about manipulating the gimmick/ai to let you win. All the cars control great. You might think this is a good thing and usually it would be but that means you can play perfectly and still lose because the game is very rubber bandy. Every car is faster than you after the first couple "episodes". You just need big luck to pull out a win. It just feels like i'm playing the lottery. Destruction seems to randomly kill you and randomly not, especially in the side races like the helicopter bombing. Performance-wise, the game is locked to 30fps and can't even maintain it. Stutters like hell. Thankfully the presentation is 'cinematic' so it ends up working in the games favor if you can ignore that it's just dumb luck. This game is more for the spectacle and the gimmick and not so much the driving. There's still something here for race fans, but sadly this didn't get a sequel for many valid reasons. Get it cheap, lower your expectations.

Compratelo e basta XD
J'aime beaucoup ce jeu de course.
