I finally beat Spelunky after 69 hours. Got lucky in the run with lots of bombs and a jetpack. Needless to say this game is very difficult, which makes it ever so satisfying to succeed. The key is not to get discouraged about dying because you tried something new or different. Chalk it up to experience and try again! The game is so good that it's almost perfect, but I can't help but compare it to Spelunky 2. The perfect version of this game is just.. Spelunky 2.

This game is very difficult. I thought it was the most difficult game I ever played, but then the sequel came out. Despite the difficulty its fun!
10/10! Spelunky is the greatest example of the K.I.S.S.(keep it simple, stupid) in modern video games. massive replay value. endless fun. can't recommend it enough .
One of first and best rogue like games, everything in this game feels intentional and perfectly designed to kill you. however the game provides perfect solutions to all of the problems which give you a major learning experience where you start the game struggling to get to the end of the first level but by a few tens of hours you'll find yourself able to things you didn't know possible. The secrets in this game provide a fun challenge and the randomly generated levels make the game almost infinitely replayable! -Otis
its pretty good, very hard at the start but when "i understand it now" its actually very easy and consistent to get to hell and beat yama, its better than spelunky 2 because when you die it doesnt feel like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but actually fair unlike 50% of the deaths in spelunky 2, also the first world (the mines) isnt nearky as long and boring like the first area in spelunky 2 (dwelling).

Simplesmente cinema! Um jogo da minha infância, jogava direto no X360 e finalmente pude aproveitá-lo e finalizá-lo completamente, super recomendo a todos! With fate guiding my every move, I spotted the cave's entrance, and that's when it all started. (é difícil, saiba disso ._.)
Ну игра не в моем вкусе, я решил не ставить прям крест - все таки это довольно старая игра. Это больше подходит для любителей платформеров, где все происходит быстро. Мне такое не очень нравится, поэтому если вам понравиться celeste, то это может тоже понравиться
