Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
🎮 Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 🎮
Another installment of the Space Pilgrim Saga, even better than the last chapter, with the continued development of the characters and more detail to the political universe surrounding them. Several achievements require repeating a classroom scene many times over, up to 7 or more to get all achievements. This requires patience but I actually liked it as it helps you to remember some details about different political factions, which come up later on in the larger story about corruption across the system. Margaret's story is also developed, and those of some of the other younger characters. There is one sequence with tactical decision making which seemed like it was going to have real time combat but it didn't, so don;t worry if you are not a fan of rel time sequences. (If you are fan of real time battles then another series will probably be more fun for you). This is thoughtful science fiction with a good story line, intelligent enough that it could pass in a novel, but with the game elements combined to make it much more interactive than just a visual novel. Most of the puzzle elements are on the easy-moderate side so you probably won't get bogged down and need a walk through very often. the puzzles also aren't so easy as to be pointless. Overall this series with its simple graphics looks like it wouldn't have much to offer but is one of the best sci-fi series I've seen, with each dollar-priced chapter being a full fledged game. This one ends on two cliffhangers so you may wish to buy the next chapter along with it. I'd recommend starting from the beginning of the Space Pilgrim Saga in order to get the full back story.
lo consegui gratis pero no cabe decir q sea un mal juego lo acabo de probar recientemente y es decente
RPG Maker strikes again! Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As often happens with this RPG Maker asset flipper/"developer", the stock fantasy RPG Maker assets have been eschewed in preference for the stock sci-fi RPG Maker assets, but the cringeworthy high school anime club dropout fan fiction remains. The developer has polluted Steam a whopping 19 times with these valueless construction kit asset flips. This is like, I dunno, the 5th? 6th of these garbage sci-fi RPG Maker asset flips? They're all more or less the same in terms of quality... none. This is the second in a series of the "Space Pilgrim Academy" asset flips, but basically these are all the same badly written RPG Maker asset flip drivel games with no value whatsoever for gamers. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 8 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger.
This game in the saga is worth playing. I must say I was not a fan of the tedious, mind-numbing repetition of scenes in order to get all the achievements though. Onto the next game, #3.
Another great adventure game from Pilgrim Adventures. It shows that good writing can overcome everything including using RPG Maker.
The Space Pilgrim series continues to stand out from the crowd of RPG Maker games. The series mixes adventure game and visual novel mechanics to good effect, and the writing is top-notch. I highly recommend this game and all of the others in the series.
Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2, developed by Pilgrim Adventures and published by GrabTheGames, is a narrative-focused adventure that continues the story of Margaret Dale and her colleagues at the Galactic Union Academy. Building on the foundation of the first game, Year 2 expands the universe with deeper storytelling, complex character interactions, and an engaging science-fiction setting. Players step back into the shoes of Margaret, now navigating her second year at the academy, as she uncovers mysteries surrounding her peers and investigates unusual occurrences within the sprawling space station environment. The game presents a dual narrative structure, allowing players to follow multiple perspectives. Margaret herself begins to suspect that one of her classmates harbors extraordinary abilities, while her friends Gail and Sabina investigate suspicious activities at a sector known as 'The Cattle Market.' This branching storyline provides variety and encourages players to consider events from different angles, enriching the overall plot. The layered storytelling ensures that each discovery feels meaningful and that player choices influence the direction of the narrative. Visually, Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 embraces a 2D top-down perspective reminiscent of classic JRPGs. The pixel art is detailed and expressive, effectively conveying the futuristic space station environments and character designs. While the graphics are simple compared to modern 3D titles, they carry a charm that complements the story-driven gameplay. The soundtrack enhances the atmosphere, using subtle musical cues to underscore suspenseful moments, emotional scenes, and exploration sequences, contributing to a fully immersive experience. Gameplay revolves around exploration, dialogue, and decision-making rather than combat. Players interact with a variety of characters, solve puzzles, and gather information to progress through the story. The choices made in conversations and actions have tangible consequences, affecting relationships with teammates and influencing the game's multiple endings. This emphasis on player agency adds replayability, as different choices lead to unique outcomes and alternative story developments. Character development is a central strength of the game. Each character is thoughtfully written, with distinct personalities, motivations, and backstories. The interactions between characters feel natural and often reveal hidden depths, making the narrative more engaging. Additionally, the game subtly incorporates elements of tension and intrigue, as players must discern motives and uncover secrets while balancing social dynamics within the academy. While Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 is widely praised for its storytelling and character work, it does have some limitations. Certain sequences may feel repetitive, particularly for players seeking to unlock all achievements or explore every narrative branch. The lack of combat or more varied gameplay mechanics might also be a drawback for players accustomed to action-heavy games. However, for those who enjoy thoughtful, story-driven experiences, these aspects are secondary to the rich narrative and character interactions. Overall, Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 offers a captivating blend of science fiction, character-driven storytelling, and strategic decision-making. Its engaging plot, immersive environments, and well-developed cast make it a standout title for fans of narrative adventure games. The game rewards careful exploration, attentive dialogue choices, and a willingness to engage with the story’s layered mysteries, providing a memorable and emotionally resonant journey through the Galactic Union Academy.
