Nice little hidden gem! Tactical minsweeper at its best. It gets tough after a couple of levels. Thanks god for the 3 difficulty levels. Way worth its price tag :D
It's the successful child of inbreeding between Minesweeper, FTL, and Backpack Hero. However, along with the virtues of its parents, it has also inherited severe forms of their flaws. I spent dozens of hours playing these games, but alas, SOM lacks the content to keep you engrossed for weeks of uninterrupted play. Nonetheless, this game is capable of keeping you entertained for 1-2 evenings, which is not a bad deal for the price.

Very rough and simplistic, UI bugs, not quite enough there
nice mine sweep game ,i like playing it
A very fun little game. Basically a minesweeper with various modifiers, but every turn of yours you are pressured by enemies, so it forces you to think carefully about your every turn. Furthermore, you upgrade your ship, which changes your gameplay during minesweeper combat. Had five runs already, the game is quite engaging. There are, however, a number of cons to the game, mostly due to the state of the game being not as polished as one would hope for it to be. 1) Tutorial only explains the very basic mechanics. There are different tile mechanics and how different equipment works, which can only be understood after you see it for yourself (some i cant understand even now, like drill size). This creates frustrating situations when you lose to mechanics you did not even know beforehand 2) The game`s balance is not very good and quite luck reliant. There are legendary items that are complete trash (like Claw) and common items that outperform rare ones (like Shield/hunter drones, which can carry you through the entire game). Even more importantly, difficulty scaling from one region to another, depending on your items, may feel either as overbearing, or nonexistent 3) The game ends very abruptly. Just as you expect to venture into true challenges with that upgraded ship of your dreams, the third boss ends, and... That`s it, you`ve passed the game. Moreover, you barely get anything, like information or congratulations, for passing it 4) Minor factor - bugs are sometimes showing up, like the fight getting stuck in place without new ships arriving. Nothing serious as of yet. Despite the problems mentioned above, I stlll had a lot of fun playing and would be very happy to see new updates to the game, so as to play it more. Definitely worth the money spent
mine asteroids and shoot pirates, build a ship and do it all over again 10/10 roguelike
A very nice mashup of a few genres. Reverse minesweeper combined with an inventory game and turn-based combat. The balance is off, you still get mostly common crappy items even in the final stages, events are weird and non-impactful, and it needs ChatGPT to go over its English, but these don't really affect the enjoyment much. I recommend you try it and hope we get a much improved sequel with a lot more replayability, because there is certainly a lot of potential here.
The concept of this is a lot of fun. I like minesweeper games and inventory management, and the two meld well together. The problem is that it's so hard to get items that put you on anything close to a decent pace in a run. The power curve always heavily favors the enemy in a way that feels like a slog. I'm fully willing to admit that maybe three hours isn't enough to have seen everything and my problem is based on bad luck for those three hours, but to me it's just not quite hitting.
i wuv this game
I want to like this game. The idea is solid. It's Backpack Heroes plus Minesweeper. That's like chocolate plus peanut butter. It's just not a polished product. The item descriptions use English words but they're so cryptic they might as well not be in Latin. The game makes no effort to explain what many effects do. There is no way to see your load out except when adding to it. And a dozen other tiny things that would bring me back. Instead I'll just go play Backpack Heroes or Minesweeper.
