Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Space Hack is an isometric action RPG that combines classic hack-and-slash combat with a dark science-fiction setting. When a mysterious gravitational anomaly consumes the colony ship Maximus, alien invaders swarm the vessel and slaughter its inhabitants. As one of the last surviving soldiers, you must fight your way through the ship and rescue as many colonists as possible before it’s too late.
Battle through 45 hand-crafted levels filled with enemies, upgrades, and loot. Combat is real-time and action-focused, designed for players who enjoy constant movement, ability use, and enemy encounters rather than slow tactical play.
Progression is deep and long-form, with a full playthrough easily exceeding 50 hours for players who explore thoroughly and complete optional objectives.
Space Hack focuses on gameplay first: continuous combat, character progression, and survival against overwhelming odds. The ship’s environments range from industrial corridors to alien-infested zones, creating a consistent sense of pressure and isolation as you push toward the escape pods.

More like Space trash.
I don't know how to feel with this one. This game was a pain to start, a pain to make it work properly, a pain to understand some archaic mechanics and a slog to play the really short time i've played. But i can't stop thinking about it, its like watching a plane crash on top of an orphanage, horribly mesmerizing, interesting in the wrongest way. I'll be not surprised if in a bunch of years coming back to this review my playtime would drastically increase.

I remember playing this game a really long time ago. And I clearly remember not finishing it even once, though I didn’t remember the reason. Well, now I know that the reason is simple: the game is terrible.

Poor RPG mechanics. Only a few stats that are basically locked to one singular weapon type - no real builds or anything like that.
Dull maps with a bloated amount of enemies. 300 enemies for each small map make progress extremely slow.
Enemy balancing. Do you like kiting each one of said 300 enemies? Because each of them has HP to tank around 4-5 hits while killing you in 2 - so you can’t even 1v1 an enemy while standing still. And by the exact same reason any attempt to play as a melee character is basically a torture.
As you might have guessed, combat is horrible. At best you kill a dozen enemies and have to go to base to repair/heal/rearm. At worst you will have to return after only a few kills. Considering that this game doesn’t have anything except combat this is a death sentence.
Oh, a cherry on top - all your gear has durability and is repaired for a percentage of items value. And for whatever reason any non-common item has such a huge price that you can’t afford running anything better than white items, so even if you find a good item - you are forced to sell it.
Too slow, too lame, too bad - to the point that even nostalgia can’t fix it.
Just don't. This game is: * repetitive * unbalanced * void of any mildly interesting content * forces you into essentially one weapon choice * forces you to deal with broken "spells" which crash the game * forces you to wonder why did you waste 32k of your hard earned money on an "artifact" that does nothing
Extremely poorly made. No reason to play this at all, even over Torchlight 1
What could've been a mediocre but serviceable ARPG becomes completely unplayable once you find out the game has enemy auto-level. Every time you level up, the enemies also get stronger. Killing any sense of progression and turning the game into an unbearable slog.
It's meh, i couldn't find the menu to close the game, it doesn't tell you too much, or if it does, the tutorial's embedded into the dialogue. Otherwise, it seems quite bare, at least it's not buggy
Where do I even begin with Space Hack? If there were a black hole for bad games, this one would be at the center, sucking in all hope of fun and enjoyment. I was genuinely excited to dive into a sci-fi hack-and-slash, but what I got instead was an unplayable mess that left me questioning my life choices. First off, let's talk about the performance. You’d think a game from 2005 wouldn’t be so demanding, but I struggled just to launch it on a moderately decent PC. The minimum requirements seem like a cruel joke, as the game barely runs at a snail's pace even on high-end hardware. I watched my graphics card wheeze like it was trying to climb Mount Everest, and for what? A pixelated nightmare that looks like it was ripped straight from the 90s. Frame drops? More like frame nosedives. I’ve seen smoother animations from a flipbook. Now, on to the gameplay, or lack thereof. The concept of Space Hack is intriguing at first: explore a space station, battle monsters, and level up your character. But here’s the catch: it’s the same monotonous grind over and over. Imagine mindlessly clicking on enemies while watching a bar fill up in slow motion—that’s the pinnacle of excitement here. The combat is so repetitive that I found myself questioning if the game was a sophisticated form of torture. It feels like the developers had one too many cups of coffee and decided to stretch a simple idea into a drab, unending slog. The story? A complete afterthought. The dialogue is cringe-worthy, and the characters are as engaging as wet cardboard. I actually lost track of the plot because it was so bland and forgettable. Instead of intriguing twists, I was met with a series of uninspired fetch quests that made me feel like I was doing chores in an empty universe. Not exactly the thrilling space adventure I signed up for. And let’s not forget the graphics—oh boy. It’s as if the art team ran out of time and decided to settle for whatever they could scrape together. The environments are dull, and the character models look like they were pulled from a budget cutscene. I found myself more entertained by the idea of a blank screen than looking at the drab visuals that dominated my screen. Honestly, there’s no reason to waste your time and money on Space Hack. Between the dreadful performance, excruciatingly boring gameplay, and lackluster graphics, it feels like a chore rather than a game. If you’re considering picking this up, I strongly advise against it. Save your hard-earned cash for literally anything else, even a used sock would provide more entertainment. Do yourself a favor—steer clear of this train wreck and find a title that respects your time and your hardware.
