South of Midnight

Absolutely loved the story and the visuals. The music is bomb, Rougarou track is playing on loop in my head since the fight. Platforming carries this games, had an amazing time exploring the beautiful environment. The only thing that wasn't upto the mark was combat, got really repetitive by mid game so I just switched to least difficulty to speed run the combat.

Incredible art direction, music, and voice acting. Compelling story that tackles loss, grief and healing. Combat is fun but quickly became repetitive. I'd suggest dropping the difficulty to one of the two lowest levels and enjoy the story and atmosphere.

This was easily the biggest surprise of 2025 for me. Simply wow. The characters, the music, the story, the level design. I absolutely loved everything. Yeah the combat is pretty basic and gets a little ripetitive, thats maybe the only negative thing about this game. This game was made with a lot of love, made from the heart, and I truly adore games like this. It’s a shame that nowadays there are so few games that are genuinely made with love and passion. I want to thank the developers for creating such a beautiful game and such a beautiful experience

This game has the soul and heart that always characterizes Compulsion's games, executed with boundless care. And I'm glad they made such a great game. The only "bad" thing about the game is that the battles with the smaller monsters are repetitive, but this certainly doesn't overshadow everything else the game has to offer: a fantastic art style, interesting characters, excellent voice acting, a wonderful soundtrack, meticulously crafted atmosphere, fluid gameplay, and entertaining levels. I highly recommend it and I hope they continue making games like this; they certainly have a lot to offer this industry.

Great game!! The platforming is just like Jak and Daxter which, for me, made traversing the stages fantastic aha. The story is quite good as well and the combat is clean and easy to get the hang of, activating the abilities doesn't feel like a chore. It's a tad short BUT if it goes on sale, I HIGHLY suggest buying it. You'll have a good time :)
