Really good! Compulsion is so creative with visuals, what a gorgeous game. Combat was really fun reminding me a lot of Kena Bridge of Spirits only a bit more casual and the plot and world reminded me a fair amount of Alice Madness Returns, the story has some really dark moments that are bound to surprise the player topped with some a solid soundtrack! I don't have much to complain about, a UE5 game that runs well, looks unique and reminded me a lot of games I like a lot other than the ending that left me a bit unsatisfied. Big recommend.

i have mixed feelings on this one - i played through in a couple of sittings, took the direct path and know there's a second play through there where i find all the collectibles, level the skills and so on. the story is well written, the folklore makes a pleasant change from all the usual mythologies and most of the actors do a solid job. it could be longer i suppose but if you want triple A hours you need to pay triple A prices. There are two minor but persistent flaws that are holding me back from jumping straight in to a second play through... Combat: overall i had no issue... it's somewhat repetitive but the mechanics there are work, reminiscent of Banishers in some ways... except when you unravel a fallen foe you are stuck in an animation often with your back to the arena... it's annoying and seems like something that could have been fixed quite easily. Platforming: Platforming on a PC port can be... rage-inducing. The early chapters were fine but in the last handful there were several times the game chose to take control of the camera half way through a jump and others were wall jumps, bosses lobbing mud, trap plants and spike traps combined for some frustrating experiences. Overall I have to come down in favour of the game but it's worth being aware of the flaws before spending.
A very fun AA title that is an honest breath of fresh air in the fantasy genre. While somewhat constrained by a couple factors, its is still a good from time start to finish. The music, sound design, visuals, and voice acting all ~really~ stand out, and its clear the devs had a very clear vision and absolutely nailed it. The combat could use a bit more polish, but when it works it feels kinetic and satisfying. That said, some issues with optimization, combat mechanics that could use just a tad more polish and variety, and some occasionally clunky dialog drag down what is an otherwise well paced, and very heartwarming story. 8/10
Bought this when it came out but due to performance issues (on my end) could not play until I bought a new PC. Loved this game, story, character design, and art style. Not big on boss battles so it was nice to see that they were skippable.
REALLY beautiful and inventive adventure game with some incredible BIPOC rep. It was held back for me by a really boring combat system. If you can get past the tedious fights, I think you'll find a lot to love here.
great gamr
Story was top notch really emotional. The platforming was great! However i found combat to be predictable yet approachable. Great game and i hope to see more of this game series.
Story is good and mechanics feel decent. But the animation and graphics are amazing!!!
