It's a good game, there's just no sonadow yaoi
The sonic generation part of the game was fine, it was slightly adjusted, but it wasnt really a remake. its not better per say than the original relase, but it is still a very good way of playing it. now talking about the best part of this, the "shadow generations" campaign, it was well balanced, albeit some of the secrets felt incredibly boring to go find (the ones around the lobby map, aka where you acess the gates) , the one's in the levels felt fun and engaging, then there is the part where you have to go around and get the crates... which was, actually just alright, there is quite a few colecting stuff (which will make most of your 100% playthrough), now the actual game was very good, the soundtrack was 9/10 imo, the level design was very good, i really liked the dynamic between 2D and 3D levels, the difficulty is balanced but not challenging enough (in the base levels), the challenge gates felt fun, the unlockable powerups/Shadow forms (I dont recall their actual name XD!) are very fun to use!. the story was very good aswell, albeit a little straightforward (im a tad biased here because i like more complex stories XP), the bosses are well designed mechanically, albeit some frustrated me a little to S rank XD. The graphical design of this one is a clear 10/10 for me. Overall i would recommend this if you want to play the original sonic generations and have fun with the other new campaign, this game is 100% worth the price if youre into sonic games and such~

Eines der guten neueren Sonic spielen. Grafisch ist es ein großer Sprung von Spielen wie Sonic Forces oder sogar Frontiers— was aber auch einen anderen Stil hat als Shadow Generations. Shadow fühlt sich gut an zu spielen und es ist schön, dass Sonic Team ihr Gameplay Style gefunden hat mit der Open Zone + Boost Mechanik, die sie seit Sonic Unleashed haben und vollständig in Frontiers beherscht haben. Anders als Frontiers läuft Shadow Generations überraschend gut auf schlechterer Hardware, wenn man bedenkt wie gut das Lighting in diesem Spiel aussieht. Das Leveldesign ist top zum erstnmal spielen, aber die in-game Cutscenes wie in Sunset City lassen es nicht wirklich sehr replayable zu sein, was Schade für eionen Completionist ist wie mir. Zu Sonic Generations kann man nicht viel sagen, es fühlt sich eher so an, als hätte man beide zusammen verkauft, weil Shadow Generation's main story nicht sonderlich lang ist im Vergleich zu Sonic Generations. Es ist kein großer Remaster, aber immerhin besser als was auch immer Sonic Colors: Ultimate veruscht hat zu werden, mit Full HD Cutscenes mit Änderungen bzw. remastered Cutscenes und treu bleibt zu dem Boost mit dem Rechten Trigger wie Sonic Frontiers (was auch besser als mit X / Viereck ist).
