Después de pasarme la historia principal he de decir que este juego es la leche. Sonic Generations es de los pocos juegos de Sonic que no se sienten baratos. Pues X Shadow Generations no es la excepción, se siente muy bien trabajado y con cariño. Si no has jugado sonic generations, píllate esto ya que lo vas a disfrutar, y si ya tienes el sonic generations anterior, espérate a una buena rebaja para jugar solo al x shadow. Ya que merece totalmente la pena. Sonic ha de tomar más el camino a ser como un Dragon Ball, aquí lo han hecho y se siente super fresco.

The load times on the Sonic part of the game feel even longer than they were in the standalone release.
Shadow the Hedgehog 2 (except with guns, you get Black Doom-type alien powers. This a game to enjoy the sections, not a full rush playthrough of it. SEGA did right by The Ultimate Life Form, and a tragic character gets much needed closure & can truly lift his head high to Never Turn Back. A+ for the year of Hailing Shadow.

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a bigger package than the original Sonic Generations featuring a brand new full story and levels where you play as Shadow. While the original Sonic Generations was fantastic, it was very short with a main story of 3-5 hours, but with Shadow's story into the mix adding another 4-5 hours, now the game truly feels like a full package. Not to mention all the extra missions and collectibles to hunt for in both stories to extend the playtime. The new Shadow the hedgehog story features the best Sonic/Shadow level design we have had in years! It's been a long time I ever felt the adrenaline and pureness of playing Sonic/Shadow, since Sonic Adventure 2 without any bugs, performance issues or wonky or short level design, everything is well crafted. It also does a fantastic job of redeeming levels that had great design but were in unfinished games like Kingdom Valley from Sonic 06 which ends up being my favorite in this game. The story is also a great send off to Shadow's revenge arc once and for all, where he finally gets to fully come to terms with his past, essentially doing what the Shadow the Hedgehog spin-off failed to achieve. Overall, this is an excellent game and a top recommendation for anyone wanting to buy their first ever Sonic game or any returning player to the franchise. This is a must on all fronts! I finished the game on PS5 also, hence my early-ish review, but played the full Shadow story to test pc performance and it worked like a charm.
