I've spent a lot of time playing these games emulated with shaders ect. and most of the time this is still my preferred way to play them. These are by no means perfect ports, but I'd bargain a majority of people won't notice the reasonably small details that are off, if they even care. The ability to play with essentially unlimited lives and in widescreen means this is the most accessible way to play the classic sonic games, even if it's entirely too overpriced for what's here. Buy it on sale, and there's absolutely no reason not to own this if these games interest you at all.
