A perfectly viable way to experience these great games and it adds lots of other content for you to do once you beat it for you’re first time like challenges, different modes and even whole other games (even if they’re old and jank) I don’t really get some of the negative discourse on this game because other than adding the drop and spin dash, it seems pretty faithful to the original and honestly those features make the game more fun in my opinion. If you’re not a chronic Twitter user or a furry, I’m sure you’ll really enjoy your time with this game like I did. I grew up with Sonics original games and the character in general and this was a really fun way to experience that again. As a non deranged sonic fan this is easily a 9/10 experience for me. You’re getting exactly what you paid for, the original sonic games and literally my only complaint is the points replacing lives so that you can’t fail and have to restart anymore but instead just start at you’re last checkpoint but It’s not a huge deal I just wish we maybe had an option to toggle lives on for the remastered versions.

Mi opinion de cada Sonic. Sonic 1: Si bien es un buen juego, opino que sufre el mismo problema de Bejeweled 1 o el 1er Mario kart de la SNES, es decir, tenia mucho por pulir y mejorar, Marble Zone y Laberythn Zone, a pesar de que no me parecieron super horribles dcomo la gente dice, entiendo del porque a la gente le desagrada, pues si quita mucho el sentido de la velocidad (Aunque la musica de Laberytnh se me hace hasta ¿Hipnotica?) ademas de que las zonas especial me parecen horribles y que rozan a lo injusto muchas veces, EN FIN, no me quiero imaginar jugarlo en la consola original (La Sega Genesis) en donde no existe el Spindash... Y MUCHO MENOS ME QUIERO IMAGINAR LA VERSION DE GBA 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 Sonic 2: Si bien, se nota que es una gran mejora ante su predecessora, hay ciertos detalles que no convencieron, como el jefe final que si bien, me gusto la pelea contra mecha sonic, contra el Death egg robot... Entre su Hitbox extraña y que ENSIMA TIENES QUE PELEAR SIN RINGS hace que sea un poco injusto, sus zonas especiales, pese que no son mis favoritas, reconozco que es mejor que los de Sonic 1 y aqui si acepto que me digan Skill issues, por otro lado, disfute mucho Emerald hill, Aquatic ruins y Casino night, fueron mis zonas favoritas. Sonic CD: Personalmente, este es mi juego favorito de la saga clasica porque a igual de Bejeweled Twist, es un juego muy unico en su saga, para empezar, su mecanica de los viajes del tiempo fue lo que me llamo la atencion de inmediato y que (A excepcion del acto III), todos los niveles tienen hasta 4 versiones de los mismos (Pasado, presidente y futuro mal y bueno) y se me hace muy bello el Metallic Madnes Good future, escuchar su bello soundtrack, mientras ver como la naturaleza y la tecnologia logran convivir en paz y el Good ending se me hace extrañamente emotivo, no diria que al punto de que te hace llorar, pero el mensaje de "You re to cool" y ver como florecen el lugar, se me hace algo... ¿Esperanzador?, quizas lo unico que puedo criticarle al Sonic CD son los jefes, pues son absurdamente faciles, de hecho, me atrevo a decir que es mas dificil llegar al jefe final en Metallic Madness que el jefe en si. Sonic 3 & Knuckles: A igual que Bejeweled 3, agarra lo que hizo bien las 2 entregas anteriores y la PERFECCIONA, el ost de Angel Island act I es un diamante, pero el de act II (O para los panas que jugaron el Sonic del flash en Friv, la primera zona) es un PUTISIMO BEACON DE NETHERITE, Tambien me encanta el soundtrack de Hydrocity (Laberythn zone bien hecho) y Flying battery, aunque admito que me gusta mas las versiones de Sonic Mania, tambien es el debut de Knukcles, de los mejores personajes de la saga, aunque claro, hay zonas que me parecieron horribles, como Carnival Night, Lava reef y Death egg, dios como odio Death egg, aunque eso si, el jefe final si es epicardo y mas si conseguistes las esmeraldas de caos y tener que perseguir a Dr. Robotnik en el espacio siendo Super Sonic se me hace super epicardo. Y bueno, mis conclusiones sobre Sonic Origins como recopilatorio (Viendo que en su salida fue polemico) pues... No me parecio malo, quizas si eres James blood o Serginansegasonic y jugastes los juegos en una Sega Genesis original, puede que si te lleves una decepciom, pero si eres como yo, un niño Mario y Plants VS Zombies/Popcap game que nunca jugo los juegos clasicos de sonic y no te quieres pelearte en el emulador, yo si recomiendo comprarlo y mas si esta en oferta. Y ahora que lo pienso ¿Que opinara la gente que nunca jugo el 1er PVZ al replanted? Bueno, ya esto por hoy.

Sonic Origins is the best official way to play the original Sonic games, but it's definitely not perfect. The Sonic 3 & Knuckles remaster isn't exactly up to par in terms of polish. It's not awful (at least nowadays), but it's still got a few hiccups. Plus the new music replacing the songs that had copyright issues isn't that great. Also, the customization here is quite lacking. Instead of an options menu to enable or disable things like lives, the drop dash, widescreen, etc., you're given just two modes, one with all the new enhancements, and one without. It really would've been nice to be able to mix and match (like, for example, if you wanted to play in widescreen with limited lives). HOWEVER, this is still a collection of four great classic games with nice enhancements like widescreen, unlimited lives, the ability to use the new coins to retry special stages if you want to, and beautifully animated cutscenes retelling the stories of these games' original Japanese manuals. For all the things this collection gets wrong, it gets something else very right. Whenever SEGA does another collection of classic Sonic games (cause, let's be honest, they definitely will), I expect something better than this. But, for now, this really isn't a bad way to play these games. In fact it's quite good in many ways. If you already own these games and are satisfied with them as they are, you don't need Sonic Origins, but if you're new to the series or don't own these games anymore, or the enhancements just seem enticing to you, I'd recommend Sonic Origins. I wish it was better, but I really can't call it bad.
