One of the best and dark stories.

Very immersive gameplay! I had to stop and just observe the rooms so many times at the level of detail! Especially outside in the ocean, it was so gorgeous i had to pause and just look around. Im not a big fan of sneaking around monsters, but this game made it somewhat bareable with the specific mechanics. Overall, Enjoyable in my opinion.

I've been a big fan of Frictional since the Penumbra games. I've felt like the Amnesia series has been of quite variable quality, but SOMA is outstanding. It's a return to form of the atmospheric puzzle/horror, where you find yourself cowering when no monsters are near and caught of guard when they are. Great story, nice graphics, explores some interesting ideas. It's not mindblowing original, but it takes a collection of ideas and the studio makes them their own. My only disappointment is that a tiny bit short, but when most games I play feel a little bloated, I'd rather be left wanting more!

definitely one of my favourite horror games I've played in a while, the whole story connects really well together I wasn't confused at all, I would highly recommend anybody trying to get into horror games. Although keep a sharp eye when looking for different items and listen to the dialogue, Catherine will always steer you into the right direction, the item your looking for might just be right under your nose. The atmosphere of Soma I personally think is so beautiful especially the underwater sequences, but the horror element of Soma is unreal, climbing through a vent, the game being dead silent, hearing Simons breathing and his heart pound while in the back you can hear something moving or screaming. Personally I think it deserves a 9/10, It's 100% a game I wanna play again in the future not to mention the workshop mods. Honestly give Soma a shot It's worth the experience.
