About
From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?
Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.
But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

I am not one to buy games that highlight pre-release gimmicks and buys and all that as you can probably tell due to my lack of knowledge of pre-finalyzed game titles. And this game reminded me exactly why that is. The story is fine as far as I have made it. I do like the animations instead of text. Is pretty good! Then you play the game. A little different than the first Solasta and takes time to learn. Then you run into a battle that looks fantastic to play, but to find that you are screwed and have no chance to win! Why? Because you have nothing to describe, cancel, or defend against an enemy that can't be 'Sensed' (even though you are standing right next to them), can't eliminate their 'blessed' status, and can't defend against them getting advantage rolls even with using dodge! So you can't attack them because you can't "Sense" them. Can't target them via ranged, magic, or melee because you can't 'sense' them. They always have advantage even when you try dodge ability. And they can attack twice, while you can only attack once (and that is when they allow you to attack them due to the 'sense' bull). Yeah, gonna have to put this game in the back and maybe I might get back to it if and when it hits me to do so.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In its current state, EHHHHHHHH. Game play isn't awful, it's not great. There are still some bugs, most aren't game breaking, but if enemies can't figure out pathing during battle they just don't move...forever. Save before battles. Mostly disappointed in the amount of content available for a full price game. I understand, "more to come" but I barely got a taste at 12 hours in before I'd played through everything. Right now I'd not recommend it. Wait until more content is released or you can get it on a deal.
The engine is pretty good, although sometimes navigation is clunky. Nice familiar 5E ruleset, although class options are limited. Unlike Solasta I, the city doesn't feel deserted -- there are many, many people. However, it's just a shell -- you can't actually interact with any of them. There's a story, but it's told through excruciatingly long cutscenes and dialog which has no real choices -- you just have to click through it all. I want to like it, but ughhhhhhhhhhhh.
while the game is fun and yes i know it's still in early access, i feel it should have a bit more hours of gameplay, i've played 9 hours and i'm basically done. i wish the updates to content would be a little quicker than almost towards the end of the year for act 2. feels rushed and pushed out for a money grab. leaves a bad taste
I'm having fun. Last update made play better. Not a huge fan of the character creator, but looks like it will get better. Looking forward to other improvements as the game moves through early access
Love RPG's and I do not need much, simply let me create a basic male warrior tav, give me a quest where I need to visit a dungeon or two, put a necromancer with few skeletons/zombies against me , legendary two handed sword as a reward and maybe a companion i can romance. Nah, you are being stopped at step 1. There are only female models in this game, you want to create a male character, good luck , they made being a transgender mandatory.
-Character customization seems to be one of the game's stronger points. -While the controls for moving around the world are presented as intuitive, they felt more like a way to explore a pretty environment than a meaningful gameplay feature. -I really didn't like that near the end of the tutorial, choosing not to join the covenant resulted in all of my characters dying and the game ending. To me, that suggests the story may be more railroaded than I would prefer. -Overall, I wasn't expecting something on the level of Baldur's Gate 3, but I was still hoping for more flexibility in both the gameplay and the choices available to the player like a lot of more modern crpgs have been doing. -If you're a D&D fan who mainly wants a tactical combat experience, I would still recommend giving it a try. However, based on what I experienced in the tutorial, it just wasn't the type of game I was looking for.
This is going on the shelf till its out of early access. It's just too clunky and missing too much content. It took me four separate attempts just to get through the intro because it throttle my GPU like crazy even on the lowest settings and everything turned off. And it doesn't save after you make your party, it saves after the cutscene. Lots of graphical issues in general, things loading weird, popping in and out, losing layers. And it's disheartening picking up supplies for crafting and having it say that entire mechanic is unavailable. Why bother? Don't let me loot a bush if it's just low value resources. And selling/inventory management in general is a little annoying. Just needs another 6 months of polish and content that doesn't exist currently.
Unless you're running the latest and greatest PC with the best video card, you cannot leave the starter city. The game will crash and you will be SOL. I'm running the "recommended" loadout and I cannot leave the city, which is really sad because I loved the first game and spent hundreds of hours in it. No big. Clearly the devs are willing to take the money of the people who will buy it even though half of them can't run it. Want DnD gameplay? Play BG3. Let WotC and Solasta rot.
After a couple hours into the game I can't seem to get through a fight without crashing
