About
From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?
Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.
But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think it could have cooked a little more before being released to the public. It's poorly optimised, has a lot of bugs, a really annoying and poorly signposted puzzle and you only get ten or so hours of gameplay on the rails.
I know a good amount of the reviews are regarding the character creation and how it isn't as clean as BG3. Where I agree with this, everyone is comparing it to FINISHED BG3 - not early access (also now with the mod options obviously it is quite expansive). However, there is so much potential with the visual of the character creation. I will add in the same vein, as a D&D fan, I personally LOVE the option in character creation where, depending on race and class, you can chose from languages for your character's to know (something that you can do in character creation in D&D but not BG3). There are other things than the physical character that goes into character creation and the added bit that these devs have incorporated I feel are overlooked. The storyline this far is great, voice acting is wonderful, and the world is beautiful, even as an early access game. I am excited to continue playing and to see the polished finished product.
Liking it so far.
very nice upgrade over original Solasta game. turn based combat feels a lot like BG3. Dialog isn't close to BG3, but what is? It's better dialog than the original game. Some of the cutscenes are well done too. overall, feels like you're playing a real AD&D game. looking forward to next installements
Visually it is a good game but they make it extremely hard to follow quest lines. Quest lines show up in your journal and you can "track" them but they don't show up on the map. They give you very little clues so you are aimlessly wandering around on some of them. Map movement is grid based, moving block by block, in an effort to enhance the questing experience. They've also sectioned a few zones off by blocking you with a river and only allowing entry via a bridge. While I think they were going for something intuitive it comes off a little clunky. Standard map is obscured with a fog until you have chartered through the section. The game has randomly been crashing on me as well with no rhyme or reason. I could be going into a new zone and it just drops out or it has done it when I was initially launching it. I am sure they will iron out those bugs and that doesn't bother me but still something to be aware of. The map itself also seems small but I am assuming because we are in early access some things are still being worked on or they will be rolling out DLC for the game. I really wish Steam offered a "Neutral" rating on games. While I will thumbs up it, I would say hold off on buying it until they roll out a patch or two.
Good start so far. I didn't have any crashes just occiasional video glitches. Interesting story. Looking forward to seeing more!
I'm digging this game a lot. Chats feel great and look great, every voice actor is killing it, lip sync is good, motion actors or character animators did great and it's so nice not to see the same 5 animations over and over with every chat. I'm impressed with all the camera moves and varied shots that keep things interesting. Talking to NPCs feels like an improvement from BG3 in a lot of ways. Player characters would really benefit from more voice options but that's a herculean task I'm sure... after playing 10 hours and hearing all the content so far, plus all the versions of the same stuff I assume they need to cut for different character attitudes... I'd be understanding if this doesn't change. Yes the player character generator needs work. but the vast majority of NPCs you meet look fine or pretty dang good so I have hope it shouldn't be too hard for them to get it dialed in. I got 2 characters looking fine, as in, it'll do. And 2 others that I thought were fine until they talked. Just don't go into it wanting an Instagram-ready party. (I'm also really not happy with one major NPC's look, and the doofus you meet for the tutorial stuff - but this is minor compared to all the things that are working great) Combat is fun and flows well, although I'm still getting used to some changes (whether they are homebrew or just more current D&D implementation than BG3 / Solasta COTM) I'm finding most things that are different are improvements. I'd prefer a less Console-feeling UI for sure... and there's always the case for giving more information, but they do a pretty good job of tool-tips and info pages to help you figure things out. Sometimes things move too fast, I'm the kind of guy who wants to see the shots land, read the log, easily read buffs/debuffs. These things can be done better. I had a few visual bugs, lighting changing mid-chat and stuff like that, but nothing game-breaking or even game-affecting for me. Honestly the only thing I feel bad about this point... is that I worry the game will be too short because I want more. And that IF they wind up making a custom adventure creator some day, there's no way people will be able to voice act and animate to live up to what we're getting in the base game. My performance isn't great with the GTX-1080, got it dialed in to pretty middling settings and getting around 25-35 FPS for the most part but there's no issues with chat scenes or moving through maps, and it's not exactly a twitch action game.
Game is looking very good. The character creation has been improved a lot, all my females looks like ... females! Happy times :)
