About
From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?
Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.
But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

Story & Setting The family approach is a breath of fresh air. Yes, I've seen complaints about the "family setting" compared to the classic "four strangers meet in a tavern" trope, but I find it enormously interesting that your party has shared history before the adventure begins, and a role in the family, It works brilliantly. If you prefer making up your own backstories, I understand the disappointment, but personally I appreciate them trying something new. Combat It's tactical, faithful to the rules, and genuinely challenging even when you know what you're doing. Much harder and better balanced than any other games of the dnd nature such as like Baldurs Gate 3. Just like Solasta 1 was. It is more comparable to Divinity Original Sin 2 for challenge value. What's Missing (But Coming) The game desperately needs more classes like Druid, Warlock, and Bard. And most importantly, co-op/multiplayer. These are on the roadmap, but their absence is felt. Bugs I've only hit one major bug: when my Fighter 1/Wizard 3 took their second Wizard level, all stats rerolled to what I assume were standard Wizard stats. Strength dropped from 16 to 10, and everything else got scrambled too. Annoying, but hopefully fixable. Conclusion for Early Access Highly enjoyable Early Access experience. Combat is top-tier, story is refreshing, and the foundation is solid. Looking forward to seeing how it develops.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As a longtime D&D tabletop player, Solasta II has really clicked with me so far. The interface, both in the menus and in game, is clean, minimalistic, and stays out of the way. There are a couple of little quirks that made me think, "Dang it," the first few times, but after an hour or two your muscle memory takes over and they stop being an issue. I'm only a few hours into the game, but the tactical combat has been excellent. The encounters have felt well balanced and rewarding. If you want more of a challenge, the game gives you a surprising number of difficulty options. You can adjust enemy health, damage, death and resurrection rules, and several other settings to make the game easier or much more punishing. Positioning really matters. You are rewarded for taking the high ground, controlling choke points, and keeping your squishier party members behind your tanks. The game doesn't let you simply charge into every fight expecting to win. Good tactics are rewarded, and poor positioning gets punished. That is exactly what I want from a tactical RPG. I also like how magic and resting are handled. If you've played tabletop D&D, the system feels immediately familiar. Managing spell slots, deciding when to use your more powerful abilities, and choosing the right time to take a long rest all feel very much like sitting around a D&D table. Resource management actually matters. Picking up additional party members feels natural instead of feeling like the game is simply handing you companions because the story requires it. The dialogue has been engaging enough that I actually want to listen to it. I'll mention up front that there is quite a bit of dialogue, but it has been well written and the cutscenes blend naturally into the gameplay instead of constantly interrupting it. The world travel has been one of my favorite surprises. If you grew up playing tabletop D&D, the hex-based travel immediately feels familiar. It captures the feel of moving a party across a campaign map remarkably well. I also appreciate that travel isn't completely scripted. There is a randomness to the encounters that keeps exploration interesting. You can reload from an earlier save and may or may not run into the same ambush you encountered before. That unpredictability makes the world feel less like it's running on rails and more like an actual tabletop campaign. Overall, the mechanics feel like playing D&D, just greatly sped up. You lose the tactile feel of rolling real dice, of course, but the game captures the spirit of the tabletop experience remarkably well. The graphics aren't trying to compete with the biggest AAA games, and honestly I think that's perfectly fine. They're clean, attractive, and most importantly they never get in the way of the gameplay. If I had one criticism, it's the dialogue animations. The characters' mouths sometimes move more like a ventriloquist's dummy than a real person. It's noticeable at first, but after a while I found myself paying attention to the conversations instead of the animations, and it stopped bothering me. I can't really comment on the game economy yet because I'm still early in the campaign. Crafting also isn't part of Early Access yet, so I don't feel there's enough there to judge those systems one way or the other. One thing I would love to see, assuming it isn't already planned, is a richer multiplayer experience. Tabletop D&D has always been about getting together with friends, and Solasta II already captures so much of that feeling. Expanding the multiplayer features with more cooperative options, persistent campaigns, or tools that make it feel even more like gathering around a table would take an already enjoyable game to another level for me. So far, I'm impressed. If you're looking for cutting-edge graphics and Hollywood-style cinematics, this probably isn't your game. But if you enjoy tactical combat and want one of the closest digital experiences to sitting around a D&D table with friends, Solasta II is off to a very promising start. I'm looking forward to seeing how it evolves through Early Access.
Having played Solasta 1 as a 'Newbie' to this genre, I have really enjoyed Solasta 2 EA. Once I sorted the Proton layer in STEAM, so I could get the game to play in Linux (9.0-4 I think), it's been rock solid. Had a few glitches (e.g. an NPC or a party member getting stuck and unable to progress), but a restart fixed it. The world map progress is much better, but repeatedly failing skill checks for 'random encounters' because no one in the party has the necessary (and so not experiencing those encounters) is a little disappointing. Looking forward to future updates - hopefully, by the time the full game comes out, I'll have a pretty good idea of what I'm suposed to be doing LOL. Rated 8/10 so far.
This game by all accounts has no reason to be running so poorly on my mid range PC compared to a game like BG3. Yes it's a smaller team and it's early access but once I hit the first in game scene with all the fire and the god rays not even the lowest settings was anything better than a slideshow, and for some reason it automatically detected me as best settings. Something is either in dire of need of fixing or I am in dire need of a supercomputer to play this game.
pretty good.
nope. game runs poorly. when i got to the part where I killed a few crabs in order to gain the trust of the kingdom, i realized that this is a cheap game.
Bg3 hat zwar die schönere Grafik, aber ich muss ehrlich sagen mag das Gameplay hier doch etwas mehr :) !
