About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

Reviews
this game is so bad its great, recommend for coop

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Juoni on kiinnostava, peli mukavan rauhallinen temmoltaa. Dnd 5e säännöille hyvin uskollinen. Paikoittelen kaipaisi DM joka armahtaisi taisteluiden pitkittyessä.
online co-op for 4 player, 5e DnD rules
So far 10 hours in, I like the overall look and feel of this game and it's 5e mechanics. Sometimes certain aspects of it's more traditional adherence to the 5e rules gets tedious like using ammo and having to salvage it after battles, needing to have a free hand to cast a spell and overland travel mechanics but I also really dig things like being able to Ready an Action and use a quick load at the merchant shops so I don't have to trigger repetitive shop keep animations every single time.
A faithful adaption of 5e rules to a video game. Lots of flexibility for difficulty settings. Targeting of spells can be tricky, and some of the 3d environments work poorly. But overall, like the game as an alternative to BG3.
my playtime is actually longer than what is stated, but I digress. this is one of the best CRPGs ever made. A pure CRPG experience with DND 5E rules, and really, really cool use of verticality. I cannot recommend it enough.
As a long time DND player Solasta definitely scratched that DND itch but the story was lacking. The game likes to follow the rulebook to the T and it does so extremely well. It was nice to see what DND on the screen would look like and this was it. Unfortunately this was all it was good for. If you come in thinking you're going to find something like Baldurs gate, it'd be best to look elsewhere. The story is severely lacking. The ending will have you thinking "That's it?!" and wonder why it feels lacking. Maybe the DLC fills that gap but I don't think you should pay for DLC to enjoy a game. If you have nothing else to do and this game is on sale then I'd suggest buying otherwise just wait.
Excellent RPG with classic DnD vibes - great to see dice rolls gives it that old pen and paper feel.
The biggest selling point of this excellent adaptation of DnD 5e video game is that it is a rare opportunity to create your own characters to form a party for adventuring. I find that Baldur gate 3 and pillars of eternity lack this feature. I felt that I don't have enough choices in both these games to form the party I like and even if I choose to hire user created characters other than the MC, they are basically muted additions with no interactions with the party. All your user created characters talk with one another in cut scenes during the main story and the dlcs scenarios. They have their own personality which you can shaped when choosing their background and traits. I have grown to love my party of all elves consisting of a paladin, a mage, a rogue and a ranger killing soraks all over the bad lands and beyond. They are a well oiled machine having survived in 3 campaigns together. Legends
