About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

im torn on this game on the one side everything is there for it to be a 10/10 game but there are a lot of tiny things that make me not want to play this game anymore. its like i want to like this game but i just cant. for example you cant respec your characters unless you install a mod which is made worse when you realise that you get a lot of gear by crafting which you can only do on characters who are proficient in it and even then if you didnt build your character for it it takes ages for you to craft a single item. i also wish there were more items with effects on them instead of just +1 to attack or some random extra elemental dmg/resistance another thing is that so far there have been 3 "bossfights" and all of them have been the exact same fight but the worst thing about this game you find out right at the start of character creation.. half of the classes and races are locked behind a paywall

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

7/10 - main game only. Negative: - crafting most useless - no filter options in inventory. not every modificator is explained. - you are travelling on a map. But only thing appearing are minor fights. for me its a gap filler. - Also lack of variation. there are mini events in a text box - why not implementing some random events similar to that? - classes can specialize - but you don´t really know what´s coming. How about a mini trailer of some skills? - sidequests are just search for / kill something. You have dialogue system with skill checks - why no quest to it? Positive: - Fighting is well done - liked physics and counteroptions - Story is ok - Lot to explore - Factions (they could differ a bit more though)
Disgusting dice rolls. Enemies always have high rolls, my dumbasses either don't hit or roll 1-2 on damage dice. It is so frustrating. Random encounters are terrible: just spam sponge mobs on low-tier group is "awesome". For example, 4lvl group fighter, rogue, cleric and sorcerer (~130 hp in total) VS 4 dire wolves ~150HP, 4 berserkers also ~160 HP + direwolves has a pack tactics + berserks have reckless attack. Devs just are "genius". Teleport cutscenes are other "awesome" issue in the game. If you just clear some room with enemies, be ready that the devs will teleport you to another room with another encounter. No chance to heal or restore resources. There is no fun to play this game.
OK. Played this quite a bit as you can see, because it's faithful 5e and, well, I like it! That said, recently "upgraded" with 'Lost Valley' + 'Inner Strength' Since then I have encountered what I will call a "nat 1 problem !" The occurrence of critical misses in the game since is way above anything that would normally occur, to the extent that I would call it an actual bug. Yes, I did consider that it may have just been extremely bad luck (for the first couple of weeks) but it is depressingly consistent. If this game is still being curated or supported in any way I believe that someone needs to take a look at this, as, from my experience, the problem would appear to be linked to the addition of DLC (paid content) and some kind of fix would be respectful. Beyond that, I still give this game a positive review as it is 5e in a can! Also it is not just a 'negative' party based problem, it is generously bestowed on friends and enemies alike!
Coop is unplayable. Game state desyncs constantly
