Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 8/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is a definite improvement upon the first 2 games of the series offering everything that was built up in the second game to be better and improved upon in this installment. Graphics are much better and overall gameplay is much more smooth and satisfying. Larger maps with side objectives that are fun to do. better x-ray killcams and much more in this fun enjoyable game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Hello and welcome to my review of Rebellion’s third iteration in the Sniper Elite series, Sniper Elite III, featuring in the continent of Afrika.
‘K’ because
enemy Afrika Corp > the then German military unit.
This is my third Sniper Elite game and having played both the previous releases, I’ll compare both games from time to time during this review. I’ll also link my reviews of the previous two games. I’ve divided the review into multiple sections topic-wise. Let’s dive into it! Graphics and optimisation: The graphics is pleasing in terms of a common yellow tint that wraps this game. The developers tried to reflect the sunny, sandy parts of Afrika and the lighting of the game reflects that too. Runs quite well on gpus like the Rx 590 and probably (gtx1060/1660 and so on). I faced a few stutters only but the main issues are listed in the next section. Bullet-travel air ripple was much more satisfying in the original V2 compared to this one in which its visual impact is very light. X-Ray cam is decent and the bone shattering visuals are satisfying. There’s kidney, liver, gut, lung and of course, headshot along with the funny testical shot animation for you to target and try to achieve. Issues: A game is expected to have positive sides but, knowing the issues first can lead to a quicker decision making. I feel that it’s not just about the money, but about saving your precious time to reach an informed decision. The game always changes your monitor to 60hz if it’s not at that to begin with making at+tabbing a pain. In order to make the game run in the right refresh rate on your monitor, add this below to the launch parameter in Steam after entering the game’s ⚙icon and then Properties: -Hz=X Here, replace X with your monitor’s official refresh rate. After that, you may enable V-Sync in settings to avoid tearing provided that your hardware can always reach the max refresh rate of your monitor in FPS. Didn’t like that they have separate keys for pick up item & search corpse, action & melee. These are actions that can all use one key (click/hold). You can’t assign SHIFT to hold breath and also use the same key for sprinting. Who’d want these two actions to use different keys? *smh* This wasn’t an issue in Sniper Elite V2, nor was the refresh rate, but for some reason the developers evolved backwards with this release in this respect. The game has neatly set up sniper nests to reach and settle into but, many of them have no shot-masking facilities nearby and while this game encourages stealth, this makes those sniper nests somewhat useless in that respect and therefore conflicting in placement. Tips: If you tag a weapon part carrier NPC with your binocular, Karl Fairburne (the protagnoist) says, “he’s carrying something valuable”. Remember to search that NPC’s corpse after kiIIing him. If the body disappears, reload to a previous checkpoint, kiII, search, reload back to the latest checkpoint, continue. Never be over-confident with your enemy-tagging. You might miss out a few enemies standing behind walls away from your view. So, always crouch inside the enemy camps, silently and keep a keen eye out to avoid detection. Melee kiIIs in general (in most video games) are usually the most rewarding in terms of XP but that’s not the case here. Sniper rifle headshots of marked NPCs are the most XP-rewarding. If you want the most XP for close kiIIs, tag, get close and headshot using your silent hand gun. But there are other explosive, satisfying ways to earn XP too. If you ever lose a body in tall grass, move to that location and press-hold the key for carrying a corpse and jog around. As soon as you are within the melee range of the dead body, you will pick it up automatically. The number of targets you can mark concurrently is limited, but increases as you progress missions, starting from 8 till 12. Marking the 13th NPC will remove the marker of the 1st NPC; same for 9th removing the 1st when 8 is the limit (check in binocular mode). Shot masking (something I wrote about in my Sniper Elite V2 review as well) is more important in this game. In brief, it is to hide the sound of your sniper rifle’s shot beneath/behind (whichever adjective you prefer) another environmental sound such as sabotaged generator/fuel pump to not alert the enemies. When you can safely mask your sniper shot, you will see a sound wave UI-icon on top of your screen and you have to fire within this recurring duration in order to not let the enemies hear your sniper shot. However, enemies that are around 100m or so away, for instance, will not hear your unmasked sniper shot. But you can always save and load many times to check. There are many manual-save slots in this game and they can come in handy. Read the below if you want to quickly gain time saving tips regarding the best weapons to carry from the start as endgame without wasting hours experimenting for the best ones:
The best sniper rifle to my experience is the Mosin-Nagant (Camo) due to its best potential of zoom and muzzle velocity (how far the bullet travels), both of which are the most impactful. If you don’t like it, then pick the Gewehr 43 when you can. Its strength is in magazine size mainly and all other specs are okay. The other rifles might have 1 spec better than these two but not better overall. If you enable all shots to show bullet cams, then rifle recoil isn’t going to be an issue, but if you see less bullet cams then the rifle recoil might be an important spec for you. For handguns, the Welrod seemed to be a no-brainer for me for silent takedowns, unless you want to go in loudly, in which case, prioritise range over damage. If you’re habituated to taking a lot of damage, take two med-kits and the rest grenades/land mines depending upon play style. Good amounts of bandages (can heal 3 health slots) can be found per mission. S-Mines are low damage despite looking bad ass in spec. 2 Dynamites/Land Mines can blow the biggest tanks if detonated close to each other. Dynamites need to be shot at for detonation. Never found out how to equip AP-Rounds (lmk if you can though haha).
General: Unlike in Sniper Elite and the V2, in III, you can customise your sniper rifles before you start a mission from the loadout. There’s a neat practise arena too. In terms of realism, it is unlike the hardcore first game, Sniper Elite. But matches the realism of the V2. Quick mention, you can’t shoulder-swap third person view in III like you could in V2. The game does not bind mission failure/score to being detected. There’s no penalty if you keep getting detected but clear the enemies or ‘relocate’ to somewhere else. But the main fun is how you want to game. Do you want to let yourself be known to the enemies and snipe them one after another while they run for cover? Or, take them out 1 by 1 stealthily? It’s up to you. Hand guns have recoil but automatic rifles don’t; unrealistic, but the game’s not really designed to be played with it all that much. I’ve completed the game on Marksman difficulty but later replayed some missions on Cadet and even Custom (with easiest difficulty parameters) and have felt that even in the lowest difficulty, the game can feel challenging interms of enemy detection (which is one of the main aspects), breath holding, sniper rifle mechanics. Conclusion: Not much more left to say other than thanks for reading my review and good luck if you buy it. I rated it a thumb’s up due to its significantly more positive aspects compared to negative ones and its smooth story-telling while maintaining engagement.
