Idk how the developers managed to make the movement feel like running on ice with your shoes on and to only move and stop when the game lets you. Aiming is the worst out of any game I have played and I will request a refund, but the almost 2hrs i put into it make me feel like I should keep it as a badge of persistence due to how ass the game is. A solid 1/5 experience that I think any serious offender should have to play on veteran without missing a shot or dying once throughout the whole game.
I played Sniper: Art of Victory (2008) and it just didn’t click. The graphics look like they’re from the late 90s — blocky models, blurry textures. The shooting mechanics feel off: no weight to the rifle, weird ballistics, bullets going wherever they want. Plus, the bugs keep popping up — markers glitch out, allies get stuck, scripts don’t trigger. Just for comparison, I fired up Silent Hunter 3 (2005) and that’s a whole different level: clean visuals, tight mechanics, nothing glitches. Next to it, Sniper feels like an unfinished prototype. I quit after the third mission and have zero desire to go back.

The bullet physics are really bad in this game and it's really frustrating and if you don't use the sniper you die in an instant in close quarters, at least on veteran difficulty. It's also extremely short, you can give it a try but this game really ain't it. It has a little charm but it's just no enough,
I actually like a majority of CI Games (formerly City Interactive), games. They tend to be janky FPS games (City Interactive especially) but still competent. Sniper: Art of Victory was NOT competent and inexcusably bad. Game is supposedly 2-3 hours long but I didn't even play that long, kept getting stuck in missions, dead on shots missing enemies near point blank, running out of ammo because of that with (seemingly) no way to pickup more ammo for your main gun, etc. Run in the other direction if you are consider buying this game. Just terrible. FWIW, actually did play decent on the Steam Deck. Had to use a custom control config but doable. 30+ minutes of my recorded game play was just setting this up. Most likely the most fun I had with the entire game ;)
Pouco marcante e a campanha é bem curta.
I think "Sniper Art of Victory" is a very good game overall. The sniping mechanics work extremely well and feel satisfying, especially for players who enjoy precision and planning. Lining up shots and taking enemies out from a distance feels rewarding and well executed. The only thing players should know before buying the game is that it is quite short. It takes about 2–3 hours to complete the entire game, which may feel brief for some players. I did experience a couple of bugs that were a bit annoying, but they did not ruin the overall experience. That said, the game still offers a good amount of challenge in a positive way. The missions require patience and careful positioning, and the difficulty feels fair rather than frustrating. Overall, despite its short length, Sniper: The Art of Victory delivers an enjoyable and challenging experience. Tip: My advice is to save the game every time you manage to do something well. This way, you avoid having to do everything all over again if you die.
A bad Sniper Elite clone.
