The Third-Person Action MOBA
No other game offers combat that feels like your favorite hero shooter, crossed with the deep strategy you can only find in a 5v5 MOBA. Feel the impact of every shot, sneak up on enemies, and combo abilities with teammates to take down the enemy Titan in Conquest mode, or defeat waves of minions and enemy Gods to secure victory in Arena mode.
Play Anywhere, With Anyone
SMITE 2 features full cross-play and cross-progression, so you can play with friends regardless of platform and take your unlocks with you.

SMITE 2 is the easiest MOBA to start playing, with features like auto-build and auto-level so you focus on fighting. But the full depth of MOBA gameplay awaits, letting you find your own path to victory across item building, map control, tactical brilliance, or simply outplaying your foes. Compete in a variety of game modes with the right complexity for your mood: The deathmatch-like 5v5 Arena mode, 3v3 single-lane Joust, 5v5 random character Assault, the classic 5v5 three-lane Conquest, and Ranked Conquest, where you’ll climb the leaderboards and become a true god in the SMITE 2 community.

I don't know how, but somehow they made the matchmaking even worse. Have to say that this game is fun individually, but it's a MOBA soooo... you can imagine. Just got fed up by the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking honestly. Can hold a 3 level lead over your rival, then you look at the other side of the map and your laner is 0-11 in the first 6 minutes. Fun experience for sure! For everyone considering the game, just DON'T. Also, thank you SCAM REZ! Bought the god pack and couldn't get the 2x Legacy Gems from Smite 1 because my account was banned and you gave no alternative method to link the accounts (even tho i have over 2K hours on Smite 1). Yay! Also no transferable skins is a pretty scumbag move ngl. For real, this game is making me consider just sticking up with League, even tho i'm terrible at it
This game sucks bruh

As a Smite player when it first came out to the times I came back after some breaks I do not recommend the game. It's looks fun to get into but it is a mess at this state. (Haven't checked Smite 1 in awhile but since they brought out SMITE 2 it probably turned towards the wrong direction) Pros: - 3rd person a fresh new look for a MOBA and 1 of the first ones to do it - Nice Scenery - Intresting God Concept - Nice mastery concept + way to earn free paid currency, so F2P people can get some shiny too Cons: - Matchmaking taking 3-10 minutes during the day because the active playercount is nonexistent - Labeled a Beta but is just Smite 1 where they attempt to fix spagetti code with new poorly written spagetti code (hence game breaking builds/items/gods abilities are there, SMITE 3 will def be buggless) - Teammates are acting 95% like bots if you ever played a diffrent moba. And they act like they are carrying going a full 0/10 at 5 mins into a match - Nice scenery... So you teammates are nowhere to be found half of the time and are somewhere in the jungle huddled up in a group of 4 doing basic jungle camps or are just aimlessly roaming around nothing - ♥♥♥♥ ton of broken item/god combinations that can ruin a game within a few mins of playtime. You can try to build against it but regardlessly will not work Example: Cernunos with a certain build can heal up to +300k a game whilst 4/5 players build antiheal to counter him, yet he basicly heals himself to full anyways during fights becoming invincable - People who are amazing at spaming character callouts to the points they spam 500 callouts a minute... Yes I'm looking at the Ra mains and the Questionable skin users especially.... (Busted... I used to spam the RA laugh too) Conclusion: If you come from another MOBA, just don't waste your time, the game might be easy to get into and looks fun at first, but in the long run you notice all the problems it has incompared to the other moba's. If you do goodluck. Go practice with a few gods and test some whacky builds out and you probably be able to shred an entire team in a few seconds when you Q up. Classic Quotes heard this year by matchmade players; - "I am not here to win" (Ranked Game) - "He f*kd me so hard repeatedly I ran out of lube" (Regular game) - "We are building items whilst solo is building lego's" (Ranked game) - "Go learn how to play the game or go play minecraft" (0/8/1 player after losing against an opponent he countered and 2 failed ganks since the player wasn't paying attention to pings or map - Regular game) - "I em not bot but robot bl*at" (Slavic sounding Janus player - Regular Game) - "*Inaudible Child Screeching For a Gank in ingame match vc*" (Regular game)
should of release like this
Smite 2 is an upgrade on smite 1, its not perfect, but give it time and this game will be amazing, its already great now
Good Moba people just want to nag or complain because they are soft or just not that good at Mobas in general. Smite is getting better with each and every update! It's not a 1 of 1 of Smite 1, but it's getting there! & updates are pretty frequent.
Smite 2 is better than smite 1
Honestly sucks. New player and I'm being put against top ranked players and my entire team is bots and noobs??
With over 2500 hours in overall smite experience across multiple platforms, I ensure you I'm qualified to say what I'm about to say... THIS GAME HAS BEEN RUINED. There's no way around it. Smite 1 was my favorite multiplayer game of all time. Since 2014 I have been willing to lose sleep, skip the gym, and jeopardize relationships in order to enjoy this franchise with my friends. In its glory days, Smite was the gold standard for multiplayer enjoyment, let alone MOBAs. The spikes of dopamine that game gave me were akin to a 13 year old boy making love to the hottest teacher in the school. But I cant stress this enough, HI-REZ has completely lost the plot. It's sickening. Smite 2 is a COMPLETELY different game. And it didn't change for the better. And I gave them the benefit of the doubt being that it was early access. But its been 2 years now. THIS GAME IS GARBAGE. Unbalanced damage from the wrong classes of champs forces you to build tank on damn near EVERYONE. TANKS AND WARRIORS SHOULD NOT BE THIS OP. And I have a personal bloodlust for that piece of ♥♥♥♥ Bastet. I hate her with a burning passion that is hard to put into words. There is no way in hell that ♥♥♥♥♥ should be that powerful. The damage is broken. The protections are abysmal. And winning relies heavily on team composition rather than team skill. This game makes no sense. As far as the new features go, they are as gimmicky as it gets. In theory, the aspects are a cool twist to old mechanics. In practice, most of them are are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attempt to fix something that wasn't broken. Its like they put all their R&D into how to milk your hard earned money directly out of your pockets. There's a myriad of old skins that that didn't carry over from the first game that they want you to rebuy just to spit in your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face. ♥♥♥♥ YOU. I will not drop another dollar on this franchise when the product they put out was already overpriced. They must think I'm a beta cuck or something. There are so many things wrong with this game this review would turn into a dissertation if I continued. But I'll wrap it up in an elementary way since that seems to be the highest grade level of the developers. IN CONCLUSION, THIS GAME IS ASS. There have been no improvements. HI-REZ does not deserve your money. Just live off the nostalgia you feel when you think about Smite 1. Its not even worth booting it up. I'm simply fed up and disappointed.
