Scamming devs really released a game with a pack that guarantees unlocking all present and future gods and then made a sequel where you don't get all the gods AND your past skins don't transfer over. You can't make it up. Imagine if Riot Games made League of Legends 2 and none of your skins and champions transferred LOL
HiRez tricked its community into buying skins, etc. to support Smite 1, then refused to carry it over to their incomplete garbage of a game Smite 2, while slowing and secretly letting Smite 1 die. Incompetent crooks.

Hi-Rez is casually trying to kill SMITE (1) so that everyone goes to their awful second game that has more bugs than your average house within Southern State within the US.
SMITE is a fantastic, action-packed twist on traditional MOBAs, but its days are numbered. Fragmenting the community with SMITE 2 and leaning into greedy monetization has left the original title on life support.
Kept getting disk read errors! Tried to reinstall it but was still having the same issues.
I'd recommend never giving Hi-rez another dollar. They will take your money and use it to run your favorite game into the ground and then ♥♥♥♥ out something else for you to buy. You'll say, "but Hi-rez, I already bought this exact skin on the other version of your game you decided to abandon." They will tell you to go ♥♥♥♥ yourself and that you can have at most a 50% discount for being a good little consumer and following them like they lost puppy you are. This is modern gaming with Hi-rez. And we'll do it all again when a new enough version of UE drops because they've been shown you all eat whatever garbage they lay before you.
Devs should come back to this and just scrap smite 2
honestly, they killed smite 1 far too quickly. Smite 2 is half baked. You wont catch me playing smite 2 for better graphics. Better graphics doesn't equal a better game. Look at Christopher Nolan's Odyssey- its visually appealing but lacks in any actual quality of depth and don't even get me started on Matt's dry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue. Dumb developers. I Literally have 7.8k hours in this game.
Sad every day that this game died with Smite 2. 4k hours, tons of money and memories for nothing.
