THE PLAYER COUNT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, DONT BE LED ASTRAY BY SMITE SHILLS gave this shame of a game some time to cook since the 2024 early release was ATROCIOUS so i came back after 2 years and im BLOWN away by how unimpressive this game is. after somewhere in the ballpark of 3.5-4k hours on smite over a decade, I'm confused why so many features are just flat out worse in smite 2. why are the menus, the item store, the practice jungle, all simple easy things, why are they all worse ? those are simple, foundations of the game. in terms of gameplay i've never seen more ONE SHOTS in my life in smite than the current state of smite 2. it does not matter what class you are, it doesnt even matter what god you are, you have one shot capability at any point of the game. every god feels like they have full flat pen full power build with red buff and EFG, except theyre not, theyre just a pele at level 8 with one item LMFAO. wtf is going on in smite 2. i'm assuming it's because they laid off so many people to try and stop the cash bleeding they had from so much bloat. employees like Jmac and Goremeiser that just sucked the teet dry. it breaks my heart to say this because this game has been beloved for over a decade but this sequel is just dead in the water. SPL completely dead. there's like 1,000 daily viewers on twitch now. There's old COD single player campaign streamers with more viewers than all of smite and smite 2 put together. insane how this game was so healthy before. Never amazing or on the precipice of blowing up big, but it was beloved by 25,000 daily players on steam and a whole host more on console. Now it's legitimately a shock to see over 7,000 players. RIP smite. hirez titanforge undoubtedly agreed on by the community as one of the worst game managers of all time. Tribes, Global Agenda, Realm Royale (a top 5 game on twitch before hirez literally patched it into shut down mode KEKW) Paladins, Smite 1... RIP I think they are only keeping smite 2 up for the same reason now that they keep smite 1 up-- it generates skin sales which is cash in the pocket to pay whatever friends of Stew and Erez haven't been fired yet lmao.

its so fun you must play it
Really dont know why people keep hating on this game. The devs keep making a good game thats fun and good to play. I thought we wanted to be gods fighting? What gives with the pipi contests? Constant updates and fan communication can't stop it being trendy to be sad and whiny.
Bom jogo, pena que baniram minha conta no 1 do nada!
It’s all too slow, all boring, total ♥♥♥♥, it’s unplayable.
Edited the review in a more clear state of mind. After sinking countless dollars and hours into smite 1 and putting the game down a few years ago i was hesitant to try smite 2 but wanted to see what they had done to bring the game to modern era and new generation of players. My big concerns 1. Ranked is a cesspool. no one knows how to play the game at all. if you thought smite 1 was bad oh buddy your in for a treat. Its so easy to play ranked we let everyone do it, and oh they do. 20 gods is all it takes to play ranked. you literally can get that in 30 min of the game have no clue how conquest ranked works and que it. Its a waste of mine and everyone else time. 2. The meta is literally not fun. I've had a jorm stand in tower w me while getting targeted by tower and wave of minions on him and fight me for solid 30-45 sec at under 10min into a game solo lane. Today as i was jungle i got beat by team of tanks all building damage and crit. Ymir supp with death bringer and he won 16 6 along w rest of his team. Youve got to be kidding lowrez. i had hopes for this game this isn't it. meta garbage and not fun at all worse than smite 1 tank meta. 3. I don't care about your legacy gems and discounted cost for same skin ive already bought prior. Not my fault your going broke. i refuse to give you another dollar of mine at all. Which is crazy amount of skins i have on 1. If you cared more about your game maybe but you don't so why should we. 4. You ruined the game. Why do aspects and all this crazy bologna. lol The people literally wanted a simple ue5 remake w revamped graphics ai and smooth controls. Youve changed gods and not in a good way. Pele rework is so bad for example. Her ult is not fun and many other gods are the same way.
While I do love this game. The mage metas were a bit annoying but nothing too terrible. However, now with the tank item changes. I cannot formally recommend this game until they change up the items again. Right now its quite abysmal with triple tank being the current meta. Its just like the old smite 1 tank patch which nobody enjoyed. Ill change the review when they fix the game. TLDR, Chronos can build Bragi/GB > full tank and hit you @ 400 an auto with his clock scaler. So until the items are out of meta. I don't think most new players will enjoy this. Currently its a struggle to enjoy this as most assassins just simply aren't viable at the moment due to the current meta and overboard jungle nerfs while buffing everything else. Alas, games worth a try but not for an extended stay currently, once that internal mmr gets high enough. You will run into the meta spam.
Currently, there are some broken gods that have insane base kits and people keep crutching on them. Then they'll use the same small pool of 'meta' items and call themselves skilled, and berate you for just starting the game and being slow to learn. There is no balancing sense in this game. Some gods need buffs bad, but meanwhile the new ones can do anything they want and then some. Hopefully it gets better, but this game is not new player friendly in the slightest. If you're losing BAD and have zero chance of winning, the weird toxic player base will hold you hostage because a 3-2 vote to surrender isn't considered majority. This game is in such a weird state, but it gets updates frequently. So, maybe they'll pull it together. Also the main menu UI is a joke.
its ok
Nothing is explained and the controls are awful.
