Very fun game, all these negative reviews forget that this is is $7 game.....of course it isn't gonna have a 40+ hour campaign with endless levels. this is the first week, I'm sure the devs will be adding things just give it time. 10/10 Also works GREAT on the steamdeck!!
A very well-designed active incremental with satisfying progression and clever mechanics, but ends a little too soon. Sludgineers is an active incremental where you essentially vacuum an area for sludge, earning money (and eventually other materials) that you use for upgrades. The progression is logical and satisfying, with new mechanics introduced along the way as you move from collecting sludge to ore and eventually gas. It keeps the progression feeling fresh instead of simply giving you bigger numbers. There are also some clever design choices that add a bit of strategy. Your power acts as a timer, but running low on power can give you a boost. Batteries dropped during a level restore power, so instead of immediately picking them up, you can deliberately leave them on the ground and use them when needed to take advantage of the low-power boost for longer. The game isn't difficult, but mechanics like this give you room to play more efficiently. My only real complaint is that the game is too short. You reach the end before completing the entire upgrade tree, so if you want to max everything out and get the associated achievements, you'll have to replay the final levels several times just to grind out the remaining upgrades. I would much rather have had a little more content that naturally carried the progression through the rest of the tree. Despite that, Sludgineers is a very good incremental with excellent progression and some surprisingly smart mechanics. It's over a little too quickly, but for the price, I think the amount of content is perfectly reasonable.

Great Incremental Simulation, completed all tech in about 6 hours. Can get a bit grindy at times but worth it! great incremental game. nice art and pacing.
增量小游戏,建议打折入。 我玩儿完demo买了原价正式版,发现demo都已经覆盖50%的内容了。。
Fun and satisfying game! I'm somewhat new to this incremental style, but this scratched a good itch. It begins as challenging and having you repeat missions a few times in order to make full clears, and having to think about an ideal way to go about cleaning spots to get bonuses is a good but not mandatory strategy, which keeps this a good balance of challenge and chill/fun. My only complaint is that you can clear all levels and finish the story way earlier than grabbing all the upgrades (it has an extensive tree) and achievements - which means I've been sitting replaying the last mission in order to grab cash and farm achievements, or just sitting on the map waiting for the refineries to pop out resources. It's not terrible - clearing out is fun! - but I think it'd definitely benefit from having a hard mode or post-ending challenges. Still, def worth playing!
I really like the idea and the graphics are cute, but for an incremental game, the progress and the upgrades feels off-balance. At the end of my run, I had bought every available upgrade and runs still felt kind of slow and tedious. I'd wish for more upgrades for my gear, especially more sucking power, instead of other upgrades (so many lightning upgrades, and that's only useful for the fog).
不错,但是流程太短了,刚开始爽已经结束了
三个小时就能通关体量很小,升级太慢了,不够爽,而且缺钱缺资源导致你不得不重复打已经通关的关卡来刷,定价也偏贵,不太推荐
