Not for $20
This game is basically Buffy with the serial numbers filed off. Your slayer has her own scooby gang that have random events happen as the game progresses. This makes the "seasons" feel very unique. Somewhat repetitive but still really fun.

As others have said, there are elements of a legitimately good Buffy-style vampire hunter game and I did for the most part enjoy my time with this but I cannot recommend it at this price tag, especially when I got a game breaking bug halfway through.
Very charming little game. It's quite janky and undercooked, but the concept is fun.
I agree with a lot of the reviews that this game feels like a great concept which would have been so much better with added narrative depth, terrain variety, and characterization. The Big Bads especially feel very copy paste, with no real narrative arc to pull you in. The NPCs also seem to have the same repetitive storyline dialogue. That said, if you're a fan of Buffy, the game feels incredibly satisfying if you go under Tourist or Easy mode and just want to passively explore and have fun staking vampires and using crossbows in a mid-90s setting. The traditional weapons, college town coffee shop setting, and mid-90s setting is a good foundation that just needed to be fleshed out more.
If you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you will like this. Not too long, 100% run took me 8 hours, I had fun all the way through. You can blast people with garlic salt shotgun shells, katana-spree, and bunny-hop people to death.
