Love it!
I really, really wanted to like this, I used to play with beyblades and battle all the time, tinkering and testing to find the best combination of parts and dunk on other kids, so this premise felt nostalgic, but the game feels too shallow to be a roguelike, wears out its fun way too soon and you almost see everything this game has to offer very quickly which hurts replayibility. The low price point makes these gripes less of an issue for most people but I just can't reccomend a game I felt very eager to play att he beggining and got bored half way through playing. The basic game loop needed more thought put into it.

For someone like me who finds roguelites too hard or grindy I think this was a perfect balance. I don't have to play 3-4 runs just to get 1 rank to unlock modifiers. I can have a good run and get a rank or 2 or have a bad run and get about half a rank, I like that. Plus I can do a custom run and try to get alot of points or simply focus on the episodes and try to beat those. The game is a bit luck and skill based but overall a good balance for letting you choose how you want to play. I didn't get very far but I was able to finish an episode and got an idea of what the game is about. I really liked the art style and music, plus who doesn't want to rip a bey-slayblade I mean! A moment of other's people childhood I get to now experience. Def a game you have to play over to unlock all the goodies but I was happy with the ending I got. Highly recommend for everyone to give it a try. Maybe you will have better luck dodging the pawzilla! Crumpet https://youtu.be/032FqEPkGkY
For the price, this game is great. I paid like $4. There's not an immense amount of content, so don't go in expecting there to be, and as far as gameplay goes, it's quite fun but not completely refined. I'd love to see them iterate on this formula with better balance and more in depth builds, maybe more progression between runs and variance of locations, maybe even some multiplayer would be cool. Also the visual style of the illustrated characters could use some work or maybe an artist who specializes in anime style illustration, but I really like how the game world and rings and slayblades look. The 90's filter is a nice touch too. Oh and the music slaps, I really like it. This feels less in line with a traditional roguelike like Hades, and more like an idle game like Fish and Chill, something to have on a second screen to fiddle with between tasks throughout the day. If your expectations are right, then you won't be disappointed.
English version

Review of Slayblade
I really enjoyed Slayblade. Some chapters lacked difficulty at launch, but the update fixed that nicely, so props to the devs for reacting quickly.
Addressing common negative comments
About repetition: If you find the game repetitive, it's either because you're not doing the chapters, or because you always play the same composition in every run. The only real repetitive element is the end-of-run slides, which are always the same and can't be skipped all at once. About "lack of content": The game costs 5.19€ at release. For that price, it's more than reasonably filled. You can't expect massive content at such a low cost, be fair in your judgment. About "the demo is enough": I disagree. The demo doesn't include the run affixes, which drastically change the gameplay and how you approach each chapter.

Positive points

Very fun gameplay with hilarious effect combos: weight manipulation, gaining or removing RPM, or unique effects like bombs spawning on the arena.
A smart combat system: your weight dictates how you should move. Light = flank hits. Heavy = pendulum swings to maximize impact force.
Run affixes add unique mechanics that refresh the experience.
Great artistic direction: the map movement system is clever, and the mix of pixelated 3D with impostors gives a nostalgic "old DS game" vibe.

Negative points

You can't skip all the end-of-run slides at once.
The last chapter is currently too hard: only 2-3 top compositions can realistically beat it, making it very roll-dependent.
To activate part effects, you must pick up a cube but the cube can fail to spawn for 10 seconds, or spawn directly on the enemy, making it impossible to collect. In a chapter this demanding, that often means the run is simply over.
Minor FPS drops in the first few seconds after launching the game. I couldn't pin down the exact cause, but it might be related to AMD GPUs (just a hunch, not confirmed).

Conclusion
For its price, Slayblade is a great surprise. The universe instantly evokes Beyblade, and I hope more games like this appear in the future. I'd love a sequel with even more Beyblade-style effects: meteor strikes on the arena, attack cinematics, maybe QTEs like the old DS games. If you like Beyblade, don't skip Slayblade.

Conclusion
I've only played a short run of it, but I like the approach and adds a lot of depth and strategy to spinning tops. The one thing I would change though? The godawful way they have decided to present the menu and how you control it. My god it is truly awful, if the gameplay was as awful as the menu controls we wouldn't be here. So good jobs devs, the game is really fun, do more of that, get rid of the menu controls because like I could be ok with whatever paid DLC you do in the future, like sign me up now, just change the awful menu controls and I'm there.
At launch the game right now is fun I Only imagine what future updates are going to bring. I personally would love to see PVP on this. Instead of power pickups you could make a power charge meter that is based off of damage done, Defense provided as in how many points in defense you knocked off from attacks receiving, and time spinning. This way you wouldn't have to completely rewrite the powers because they're actually pretty cool but it would also give you balance to what you're going to focus on attack defense or endurance.
Right now I can't recommend this game, its just the demo with some images as an ending (the ending was funny tho). 1) It's lacking content: a new map, a story mode, coop or vs... there're so many things you could put here I don't even undertand why it took so much time since the demo up to this! 2) Somehow it works worst than before the release, the 90's effects looks worse and the fps are not only limited to 60 but dropping (how?). STILL 1) It's suuuuper cheap 2) The dev seems very chill So i'm buying it nonetheless
Silly little mouse only game, rather quick. Finished it in less than 20 minutes. Only rec if it is on-sale due to length. I wouldn't pay more than $4 for this.
a bit janky but fun.
