fun quick game to pass the time
I remember enjoying this game on a PocketPC device when it originally came out but for the PC version, it seems that most of the levels are close to impossible to beat at the highest level simply because you start with nothing. By the end of the first turn you are cooked. I'm sure with enough patience you may be able to work out a sequence that will allow you to win but that just isn't fun.

Difficulty is more of a suggestion that is ignored at times. This game is nothing but nostalgia that aged like fine milk. There is just blatantly not enough coherent information to play this game accurately and with purpose. There will be times where everything's great because you strategized, and it'll all go south for "reasons" the game feels fit not to explain.

Great little strategy game that I've been playing for years. Lost track of this little gem and was very pleased recently to find a Steam version. If you have 25-30 minutes you can take on one of the many maps and keep your brain sharp.
К сожалению [b]автор забил на игру[/b], поэтому она какой была несколько лет (или уже даже десятилетие) такой она и осталась. Графика не векторная, поэтому на больших мониторах будьте готовы к шакальному качеству сетки. Нет локализации, хотя сделать её не составило бы труда, нет встроенного генератора карт, чтобы можно было по параметрам сформировать остров. Отдельная печаль - это тупой компьютер, который из раза в раз даёт окружит своё войск, отрезать его и победить на карте, даже если у вас не самая выигрышная позиция. Поэтому в какой-то момент игра становится предсказуемой В общем, я помню игру, какой она была много лет назад, с тех пор ничего не поменялось. Но главное, что хочу сказать, что игра очень увлекательная, идеальный кандидат для убийцы времени. Жаль, что автор решил не развивать проект и оставил его таким, какой он был.
