Silly Polly Beast

Incredible game. I love it so much. The music is excellent and the art style is incredibly charming. I love the characters and the story is very well written. This game oozes soul and passion, you can really feel how much care and attention was put into this. I cannot give this game enough praise, I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I'm excited to see more from this guy.

The game’s style is wonderful, and that’s why I bought it – and it’s what really carries the game. The shooting mechanics work well; it’s a pleasure to wield the revolver, and the sound of it reloading is particularly good. The music during battles is also good, as are the bosses. It’s intriguing to follow the heroine’s adventures; it’s easy to get drawn into her story, and it’s easy to wish her antagonists all sorts of misfortune. But the game can be a bit clunky; the full third-person camera clearly falls short of the isometric view, and you really notice this on a second playthrough. Still, it’s interesting to see the world from a different perspective.
